The absorption rate seems a lot harder than 31%. It would probably help if we looked at their HP levels and decide from there where that absorption sweet spot lies (since apparently that's important when absorbing Seru).

You're running into compounding probability. It may be 31% to absorb one seru, but for you to absorb two your chances are 9.6%. If you wanted three, it would be 3% chance that you absorb all three. That's like having 100 of us play it and 3 of us might get all three.

3 of us on average. Any number of us could go 3 for 3, but in an infinite number of simulations, the mean number of people going 3 for 3 would converge to 3 / 100.

By the way, will you have time to look at enemy AI at some point in the future?

Yup, and with the 3 of you, it would take each of you 8 times to try it before it would even be at a 50/50 chance of just one of you getting all three absorbs.

I don't plan on doing anything with the AI. I've not a lot of free time and when I do get some, I have some other projects in mind that have more demand : /

Yeah gillium is one of the hardest seru to catch.
The rate is very low

I had to spent 1 hour only able to absorb just 2 for noa and gala

I get all the Seru for all the characters in a little under 2 hours.

Gilium starts at 4:17:21 (10:56:14 on the run timer)

Noa gets hers at 4:19:36 (10:58:29)
Vahn gets his at 4:21:29 (11:00:22)
Gala gets his at 4:27:23 (11:06:15)

It takes just about exactly 10 minutes to get all three of the characters the Gilium absorb.
