I remember the first time I got to fighting Dohati, I thought he was going to be as tough as Xain and Beserker...oh how wrong I was.

I suppose I'd like it better if Vahn weren't a silent protagonist. I understand why the developers made him one, but I think silent protagonists work better in stories with a larger crew. Sure there are 5 speaking characters in the party if you count the Ra-Seru, but in a story where so many terrible things happen throughout, especially toward the end, it would have made more of an impact if we could see Vahn react to the events unfolding before him outside of facial expressions in certain scenes.

Would also have liked it if we got more insight on Songi's Ra-Seru. They likely didn't have any interaction between the Ra-Seru and Songi's Ra-Seru so the big reveal would be a surprise, but there were so many Seru and we didn't get to see much of the rest of them.

I think the silent protagonist concept could have worked a LOT better if they had allowed more choices to be given to the player. Also, if the player felt like they had more control of vahn as a character over control of the entire party of 3. What would have probably helped is adding a tad bit of AI (simply "follow the same path" type) to the other two characters and have them follow Vahn from behind instead of being absorbed into his body. Two additional characters running around would have had no impact on the computation power of the game. Of course, the programming for the game might have had conflicts with this, but I can't see the original source code so I have no idea lol.

I hate the fact that once you get to level 82 with the characters, it takes 2 days to get to 83. 4000 per battle in Juggernaut, and it takes 200,000 to level up.

Yeah I only remember leveling up to 99 once back when Legaia was new. Now that was seious time investment.

I feel accomplished that I've made it this far, can't wait till level 99!
