If it's a tie in the end, the "I don't care" polls get a roll with my D4 to determine the choice that it would have been in the poll. even = legaia 2, odd = legend of legaia.

Actually the site is dedicated to both the first AND second game... So anything legaia-related. If you mean incomplete legaia 2 portion of the site when you say FAQ, then yes, it's incomplete... But there's also a lot more in Legaia 2 than Legend of Legaia (the primary reason for that incomplete stuff).

Anyway, just remember - if you vote for the first game, as mentioned in the post, the longer it'll take before we get this thing up and going.

Because the current D&D rules account for MANY races and classes and whatnot. Legaia 1 has less so the rules have to be changed around to accommodate LESS races and classes and whatnot. Plus, since Legaia 2 has a 'Magic' system kinda similar to D&D and Legaia 1 does not, that creates more problems that need fixed. THAT is why Legaia 1 is harder.

Honestly, I don't see a problem with basing DnD on BOTH games. You could just takes certain aspects from both games, like Legaia 1's Seru and Legaia 2's multiple classes.

True, but incorporating Seru is really the hardest part. D&D has no Seru-equivalent rules in place so the rules would need to be created completely from scratch. Don't get me wrong, I have ideas of how to do it but it will take play-testing to iron out kinks and get balancing right.

Wow this is really happening. I'm not even sure y'all even know what D&D is from a hardcore gamer perspective.

I'm really sure you should go with Legaia 2.

But if merging is an option, why not create a Mage/Witch/Warlock class that uses the most important part of the Seru; their spells. Like, at a certain level, Mages can make it rain acid (like Slippery) or at say level 20, they can summon Earth spikes similar to Kemaro to stab their opponents.

Rolled a 1d20. 1-10 got Legend of Legaia, 11-20 got Legaia 2. Rolled a 5, new RPG is going to be based on Legend of Legaia (野菜, lol)
