I'm 20 years old and am in my 3rd year of college, majoring in Asian Studies with a concentration in Mandarin Chinese. But, I'm a white guy not Chinese lol. Anyway, Legend of Legaia is a game that I discovered in the year 2000. It was my 4th RPG, right after Final Fantasy VII and Pokemon Red/Yellow. Without a doubt it remains my number 1 favorite game to this day, and that includes all genres. There's just something about the character design, environments, battle system, and graphic style that makes it so charming and enjoyable. Originally my good friend and I were going to go to FullSail University in Florida for game design and since his family is runs a multi-million dollar industry in Tokyo and he's also a huge fan of Legaia we were all set with trying to revive the series after we graduated. Unfortunately, his interests changed and he decided to switch his occupational goals and certain things happened that saw me switch my college plans so it didn't work out. That being said, it's great to see that others have an interest in this series because I believe Legaia is a classic and deserved much more attention. It's a shame that people were putting all their attention in Final Fantasy VIII which came out around the same time, because I absolutely hate that game >:0
