Just so everyone knows, I will be running the full game tomorrow. Goal is to get under 9 hours, 30 minutes.

(My mashing skills have much improved since my last run, and the route is better.)

So, I heard a few of the other viewers on Twitch talking about skipping Uru Mais. Do you think this is possible, or just a pipe dream?

Well, the idea is to find a way to skip through the ice blockade at Nivora, which would potentially mean skipping all of Usha and Uru Mais.

Zeto is dead in 2:00:40 today. Gerrick1 has come up with a new strategy that should make it possible to beat Zeto in under 2 hours.

What is this strategy? It might help when you do another full speedrun.

Instead of selling the hidden Fury Boost in Drake Castle, I instead sell the Scarlet Jewel, and use the Fury Boost during the Viguro fight. I estimate that that saves about a minute to a minute-thirty. So yes, I definitely think that sub-2 is possible and I will keep working towards it.

I attempted a run through Dohati today, but the game decided to end my run via seven failed escape attempts in a row at the start of Fire Path... :(

One more minute saved doesn't sound too impressive. I guess it's still important if you strive for perfection.

Well, as good as I can get.

And today, it finally happened. Zeto dead in 1:58:21. I can still save at least 2:30 in the first hour of the run, so I think a 1:55:30 or so is possible.
