cloud unleashed a pretty sneaky attack and won because sephiroth wasnt the one who was hurt... it was his third that got hurt.... so seffy simply left once that guy died

Cloud killed him the first time, the second time he was reborn and the cloud killed that body. Cloud was so badass that after he killed Sephiroth the second time he said "Go back to wear you belong, in my memories," which Sephiroth could think of nothing better to respond with than "I will......." but then after like ten seconds he realised wow that was really pansey so he saved a shard of dignity by adding "never be a memory"

And that is my synopsis on the final fight of FFVIIAC
