in wrpgs where they make characters it still applies
but jrpgs typically give you the protagonist usually making it a teen

well w/e happens happens
i'd prefer a more adult character possibly in early 20s to still keep it "young" but i can work with whatever so long as its a good MC

I agree the character has to be good enough that the age doesnt really matter

it is very much different, actually
there is a big maturity and mindstate difference from teenager to adult (at least from all the adults that have told me so)
and besides, it would spice it up
i don't really like teenage protags
they tend to be the same characters in every game >_>
