LoL was the only RPG i played on PS1 (apart from FF VIII & Suikoden 2, but i used gameshark for those games, so they don't count ) & Legaia 2 was the only RPG i played on PS2. most turn based RPGs are boring, except these two. I wish they would remake or perhaps make another sequel.

I hate Tetsu btw, that self rightous monk ;-(

Hm...have you ever heard of Xenogears? It's a bit older than Legaia (IIRC) but the battle system is the closest I've ever seen, although its ATB instead of straight up trn based

naah, that's ok. I believe only the best can recognize a classic. Maybe we should conquer the world or something i'm gonna take my time reading some posts here, perhaps jumping in some topics later. gotta finish FF 13-2

it's the one with robot & the hero with chinese name right? heard it, but never played it didn't play much RPG back then, i hate grinding, and grinding seems to be mandatory in old RPGs.

Yup that's the one. But trust me, grinding isn't mandatory at all. There ARE random battles, but that's it really. I'm replaying it myself right now and I haven't done any fighting other than what was mandatory or random battles I fought heading to the next destination. But it does sound like you might not be a big fan of it, so maybe you should stay away idk. Maybe watch a video of it online or something.
