Hey guys, figured I ought to introduce myself. My name is Michael, I'm 24 years old and live in KC,MO.

My two biggest hobby's are Music and Gaming. I'm a metalhead, have been playing guitar for a little over 10 years. Along with bass, drums, piano, violin, and Celtic instruments. Currently teaching my wife ukulele and bass. Though my main genre is metal, I do play other styles as well, ranging from classical, blues, jazz, and folk. I also do my own recordings at my home, and work at Musicians Friend.

Gaming wise, I have always been a gamer. Mainly due to my grandfather. Even today, being 76, he still spends the majority of his day playing Oblivion. I'm pretty sure when Skyrim comes out, I may never see him again. Anyways, my two favorite games are LoL and Legend of Dragoon. Hugely into the Starcraft, Diablo, and Silent Hill series. I dare say I spent the majority of my teens locked in a room with diablo 2. Currently looking forward to BF3 and GW2.

Your grandfather plays video games? Dude, that's so awesome I can't even say how awesome that is, lol. I also spent my time locked up when d2 came out... Literally played it for like 3 years non-stop in my teen years. Biggest waste of my life ever - Doubt D3 is going to be anywhere as good, though.

Thanks. Yeah, pretty much everyone in my family plays video games. Generally if I get a call from my grandpa, it's because he's stuck at some part of a game and wants me to help him get past it. He is pretty awesome.

D2 was such a total time sink. I spent probably the same amount of time on it, if not more. Quit for like 5 years and then went back a few times. I try to keep the obsession to a minimum. Currently don't have it on my computer lol. Looking forward to D3, but like you said, I really doubt it will live up to what D2 was.
