Hello all! Let me just say first that I'm extremely happy to be apart of this group! Legaia has been my favorite title since childhood and I just recently thought about doing something special. A Speed Run!

Now, granted there are a couple runs right now on YouTube and the current record for beating the game is 8:36:31, which is phenomenal! This run was done with playing the Slots to obtain 30,000 coins in order to purchase OP items and rack up the Point Card to kill off Bosses a lot quicker. Along with that is the recent glitch found in Ratayu where you can bypass the guards leading towards the Juggernaut room and grabbing the Evil Talisman REALLY early, which makes Boss battles a joke.

Despite all of that, I am currently doing a complete Pure Run of the game. No Slots, No Glitches. I am currently sitting at 12 episodes and my time is clocked at just over 4 hours.

I figured he was apart of this thread. Thank you for the assistance. I'll definitely be checking that link out since this is my first time running the game.

I'd love to see you try and beat the game in one sit in, like Night did. I'd watch that stream, if possible.

I definitely want to stream that one day soon. Just want to have at least one "practice" run completed. That way I can go back and make the necessary changes to make it faster. Which playthrough is Night's? Can you link it?

Ooh so there's two people on that channel. I watched the WR which was amazing! I'm trying to see if anyone has run the game no slots, no juggernaut.

Set up a date and I'm sure some members will find the time to watch, even if it's a practice run.

You can do it that way if you want, but that would likely require grinding for money for new armor, which would take another five hours or so.

Yea, it definitely might. I've already gone through one grinding session already before Berserker, but haven't had one since, and I just defeated Songi 2nd form. Seems to be pretty steady so far. I can imagine Karisto is going to be the long haul.

Yes. I'll try and set that up on my very next run. I think what I'll do is find the fastest way to do the run no slots no glitch over time. There's already several things I'm seeing in my first run that would save plenty of time for the 2nd.
