Come, let's sit around the fire.

Hello there, name's ChaoticEmerald. You may call me Emerald.
My Legaia craze started one cold, cold Chirstmas over a decade ago when I opened up the best gifts any one person could receive: a Playstation, a copy of Final Fantasy VII, and a copy of Legend of Legaia. Never before had I owned such a system, or either game. Up this point, I was still gaming on a Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, and Gameboy Color. Pretty much just Zelda and Pokemon.
My joy was unconstrained. It was actually Legend of Legaia that I popped into that Playstation first. I will never forget the memory of that night, sitting in the living room with my mother, investigating the all-too-looming sound of something powerful hitting against the walls of Rim Elm, and upon Juggernaut showing itself for the first time, saying to my mother "This game is kind of scary, Mom" (at this point, the most intimidating video game character I had ever seen was the pokemon Haunter, haha). Her response was of course "Well, don't play it then!". Ohh, mothers.
I didn't halt my session just yet. I had made my way to Drake Castle by the time I found myself ready to give Final Fantasy VII a run. I remember that night, thinking to myself how Legaia was the coolest game I had ever played..
Fast forward some years. I am in my twenties, and I've since beaten Legend of Legaia over ten times entirely, and even spent obscene amounts of time with completionist files and the like. This game is in my top three, and believe me, I've conquered hundreds of games; I own well over 1,000+ games across every notable system. This game is legendary, and I never get to meet anyone on the streets who even knows what the game is. It's sort of sad to hear, but it also makes me smile knowing such a legend isn't heavily tainted with aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, gamer chicks, bros, and nuns who know nothing about RPGs. And I hope it always stays like that.
This is my story. Let's hear yours.
