I was thinking, why not add a new chat sound for certain group members? Like:

Admin: A gong
Mods: Buzz
V.I.P/Donators: A bing
Regular users: Regular sound.



I can't hear my beeps for some reason... Only when I write and SOMETIMES[/s] a random beep from another member (usually when I'm on the LoL site tab). So that's another issue.

Since we're still doing donations for the new forums, once we got that up with the new chat system, I'll definitely consider seeing if it's possible for me to do this. Assuming that sounds and all that good stuff still works. Great idea, though - honestly. If anyone has any reason to say no - say it now... And yes, I know I have yet to make a mute button lol.

I agree with Red, breaking it down for different groups would be a nice touch. Oh, and also a mandatory mute button.

And I'm not that hyped for a mute button (mostly because my chat keeps glitching and I either hear a chopped, short beep, or nothing at all). Why do you all want it so bad? it usually blends into music perfectly fine when I do hear them.

I also find it funny how you all like this idea, but are most likely gonna activate the mute button as soon as you get it (thus not hearing new beeps at all).

Lol I love that it was my idea that has created all these new ideas, plus one that will effectively cancel them all out haha

Did you all want to still see if I can implement this later? I still think it sounds like a good idea, and since we're NOT moving to the new forums (any time soon), I can look into implementing it.

Honestly, i don't care one way or the other.
