Is there an over arching plot with all the chapters mapped out or is this pretty open ended?

If anything, it's just another feature to the board like the arcade or store. You get G from posting on the forums, you use that G to your benefit. If the economy on the forums wasn't so... horrible, I would have implemented in-game G right away. Of course, I could totally reset everyone's G if I really wanted to and do so. But then again, we'd have a ton of angry people (and even I don't want to lose all my G!) lol.

And it's not like this RPG will just stop being played a month from now or anything. If anything, it'll be around as long as the DnD game is still being worked on by lone (if it is...).

To be perfectly frank, though, you've not really done a good job of explaining how any of that all works.

Do you mean how the G will be used in the DnD game? It'll be used the same way as the real DnD game uses its money system. The key difference being that you can also get money outside of the game (via the forums). I didn't think it needed explaining since we already mentioned that it was going to be DnD with a legaia theme, using the G on the forum for the currency. The *exact* specifics on the entire game and how the G will be implemented in all situations, I cannot say simply because the game's not made yet...

Well, I meant in this game. There hasn't exactly been a good way to acquire G in game, and it hasn't been explained well how out-of-character forum G is spent in-game.

There are ways to acquire it in the game. It just hasn't come to you all yet. In fact, one of the soonest ways you all will get it is via killing human characters (bandits, wizards, etc.).

And I'm not sure what you mean that it hasn't been explained? I thought it was pretty clear that the G on the forums was going to be the same currency as in the game. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. From what it seems, everyone here has had a solid understanding of forum G = RPG G. Unless I'm in illusion

Sure, but you've not exactly explained how forum G gets converted into game G. Specifically, even though I might have lots of G on the forums, my character has very little in-game G with which to spend, and how to convert one currency to the other has been poorly explained.

You can access your bank in town, Nightshade. That's how you bring your forum G over to your character.

Except there's no in-game reason why any of our characters would have a bank account, seeing that the vast majority of us haven't ever even been to town yet in the first place.

Also, one might think that the mechanisms could be better explained. I'm not even sure how I am supposed to know that bank = access forum G.

I feel as though there are many intricacies about which we are being left in the dark.
