I get that a lot of us don't share the same interests, but one of the reasons I haven't been on as much is because there is 't a whole lot going on. A lot of topics have already been explored thoroughly (hence the threads with 100+ pages).

Well, people have different schedules too. Certain months are lighter work than others.

The problem is that if there are too many forums, then there's TOO much... Being a member of other forums for many years, I've seen how TOO many can actually destroy a forum instead of make it better.

Me not being in the Trash Group would definitely make me talk more. Just kidding. I don't mind. Although, I do get lonely being in the Trash Group, I guess it's not so bad... I can still chat. Well... I mean, with the obvious setbacks, but, still, I can chat. So I'm good.

Actually discussion could be nice too, instead of endless posts of gifs and pictures about the topic. If there is actual discussion buried in those topics, I'm not going to spend time find it. Closing topics and having Part 2, Part 3... helps.Zup wrote:More discussions and topics.

Part twos and part threes seem like a waste of time. How about actually asking if said subject/idea has been discussed on the topic. That saves a lot of time and effort for everyone.

There's merit in that system, but I don't see any significant justification for our actual forum activity.
Yes, there are one or two dorks (Red and his mama) who have flooded general threads with pictures and short posts. In defense of that: a lot of that was awhile ago, and nobody else posted back when they were at the early stages of life.
I don't mean to be an こし, but y'all really seem to have a lot of "complaints" that are fairly minimal and could easily be fixed if y'all....tried. You think the part two and three thread ideas would work? Make em! You wanna incite actual discussion when the two peeps who've been through a fair amount of topics over a time period in which no one else participated? Go for it!
I don't think anybody really cares if you bring up previously-discussed things. The increased conversation would bring them back in to give their own opinions - some of em are prolly different now anyways.

Just post if you wanna post. Talk about what you wanna talk about. If the constant gifs and whatever annoy you, then ignore em. Spark actual discussion. Use that friend and foe system the site has. iunno what that does but maybe it's like an ignore idk.

You're not being a donkey, you're being direct. And yes, I have absolute no problem repeating topics. And the pictures are literally only in 4 threads. You're telling me that's the whole site. The GG thread, the Chat thread ver. 2, the Hilarious Pictures thread and the Ailee thread do NOT make up the whole site. Expecting for something to stop without making any actual plans or taking any actions to stop is like wanting to drink water but not getting up to go get the water; you're not gonna lose your thirst by not doing anything about it. Get up and get the bloody glass of water. I don't see pointless GIFs on this thread. You telling me you can't post here? There are several things anyone can discuss here whether or not there are GIFs in here (which quite frankly they don't belong).
It's all a matter if you guys even want to discuss or not. Because I know for a fact that if I want to discuss something on a related thread, I'm discussing it even if I'm just blabbering to myself like I am now.
As for the part 2 and part 3, that's gonna do absolutely nothing but flood the site with parts of a discussion. There's many things that can fix a large thread, the two easiest are: Search for it on the Search link above that DOES WORK, or to simply spark the conversation again. Personally I like the direct approach of looking for something page by page; it gives me an idea of what people think and whether I even want to discuss said topic on said thread or not.
Point of the day: Post or just don't, I don't really care; page number won't hinder my interest in any way and so long as there's activity from at least one person alone and I still have ideas I want to discuss, then I'll post. The posts will only get bigger and longer, no point in trying to lighting the load- take it as it is.
