Raul and Red walked up to the tall building. Both were still puzzled by what happened.

Red started a face palm. "Ugh. I forgot, I used the water covering the hole to get to you guys. I should go find some."

Raul pointed to a tree. "Why not take the water out of there?" Raul also pointed to some fog that was starting to form. "Or that?"

Red thought about the matter, but decided against it. "Why? When I can just run back to the lake we first came in."

Raul sighed. "You'll get lost, and besides, the less encounters with other contestants you find, the better."

"Alright. Fine. I'll take some water from the plant life. But it'll take some time."

Raul made his way to the arena door. "Alright. Take your tim-. That Camas guy is injured."

"What?"

"I see 2 guys, Camas, and some giant."

"That can be troubling. I need water ASAP. We need to get in there, our stuff is in there." Red looked around for a quick source of water, all nearby sources would take too long. "I suppose I can use the dagger again... But I don't know how to refill it if I run out."

Raul looked at Red with a disappointment look. "Excuses. Remember, we have 1 more day of 'invincibility'. I think our energy will be replenished by then; that includes the dagger."

"Fine, I'll use the fast forward crap."

"If it makes you feel better, I'll use some magic on you."

Red's eyes widen with glee. "I almost forgot about your magic. Can you?"

Raul took his Key of Lorelei and took a deep breath, in less than a second, a red clock surrounded Red. As soon as the clock went away, all of Red's basic movement started to speed up.

"Alrighttimeforthedagger!!" Red took his dagger and rapidly tapped on the jewel 3 times. Suddenly time looked extremely slow in his eyes.

"Rrrrreeeeeedddd....... Dddddiiiddd iiittttt wwwwwoooorrrrkkkk?????"

"YEAHITWORKED!!I'MGONNAGOGRABBEDSOMEWATERNOW,BYE!!!!" Red ran towards the place where he first spawned as Raul turned to entered into the Arena. He was moving so fast he started to lose focus; he thought of solutions to problems that would have taken a regular man days to figure out. The wild animals watched as Red zig-zagged all over the place. "WHERESTHEWATER? WHERESTHEWATER?WHEREISITDARNIT!!!!" Red ran and ran and ran, until after 10 minutes.

"FINALLYSOMEWATERNOWICANDRINK!!NOWICANFLY,HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Red gathered about 7 gallons of water and rode it back to the direction he thought Raul was.

"LETSSEE,RAULWASNORTHOFHERE. ORWASITSOUTH?? HOWLONGDOTHESEABILITIESLASTAGAIN? ITHINKIT'LLLASTMEANOTHER10MINUTES! CRAP!" Red ran around pacing. Until he finally found out how to get back. "I'LLJUSTCLIMBATREELIKEIDIDBEFORE! YEAHTHATLLWORK!" Red rushed up a tree and saw the big building in the distance. "OKAYOKAYIT'LLTAKEME5MINUTESTOGETTHERE! GOGOGO!"

Red jumped down and ran towards the building. "RAULSTAYOUTTATROUBLE!"

Camas Rikehart~

Post by Rammerrush » Tue Sep 18, 2012 2:47 pm

Camas Rikehart.png
Camas dodged a punch from the hulking man. He snickered as he got a glance of his face. Thanks to his spell, the hulking beast's face looked more like that of a clown's then anything.

He threw another punch and Camas quickly blocked it with the flat edge of Essie. "You avoid too much!" Another punch went right by Camas's head. "Come on, try and do some damage, weakling!"

Camas quickly shot into a crouch and made a fist against his chest. "Tornado!"

Wind rushed into the duo until the gust caused them to shut their eyes against the force of the gale winds. Camas kept close to the floor, in the eye of the storm, keeping Essie and himself safe from the destruction the wind was about to cause. The giant was lifted into the air and he began to spin around his foe with the whirlwind.

Just as the whirlwind was about to pick up it's destructive power, Camas thought he saw a figure about to get caught in the attack. He didn't want an innocent to get caught in the way of him winning this meaningless fight. "Get out of the way!" He shouted, but they must not've heard him over the winds.

He clutched his hand and inwardly commanded the spell to stop prematurely. Almost immediately the wind began to die down, lowering the gargantuan man to the floor.

"What, is that all you got?" he asked, clearly dizzy from the ride.

Camas ignored him and looked toward the figure. It was that annoying kid, Red. He was jumping up and down, sprinting all around the hall. Camas watched as his jitteryness seemed to calm down a bit. He went from jumping off the walls, to shaking in place, and then to an out of breath moron.

Great now I have to make sure this kid doesn't get hurt. Camas rolled his eyes and stood up. "I hate to end this fight," he started.

"What, too weak to finish what you started?!" The man sneered.

"Look giant man,"

"Vulres." The man clarified. "Remember it!"

"Vulres then, We're still invincible, at least until tomorrow. So let's hold this off til then." Camas sheathed Essie, signaling he was done with fighting for now.

"Fine then." Vulres lowered his fists and walked off deeper into the arena. "I'll be looking for you, swordsman."

Camas shrugged off the threat and made his way to the kid. "You got in my way kid, I didn't want you getting hurt. What did you do to get all out of breath like that?"

Red ran fast, looking at his dagger every few- every second. "Notgood, daggerhaste runningout." Red got to the arena faster than he expected, but he was running so fast, he passed Raul.

"Rrrreeeddd, hellppp Cccaam--" Before Red realized it; he ran too far to hear Raul. By the time he was able to stop, he almost collided with a twister. "HOLYCRAP!" Red tried to struggle out of it, but the wind was sucking him out. "Comeoncomeoncomeoncomeon come on... Come on come- Ohno, daggerislosing Its haste."

Red ran around for another 2 minutes before the twister died down; revealing Camas and some giant thing. After the two people talked, Camas walked up to Red.

"You got in my way kid, I didn't want you getting hurt. What did you do to get all out of breath like that?"

Red tired to stop his leg from jumping around. "Whoareyou calling a kid? I'm pretty sure I'm older than you. And its just an effectfromsomething. Don't worry." Red speed walked to his hole. "Besides, it'll take more to kill me; or even that green ball of Gorilla crap."

Camas sneered. "Kid already thinks he's better than me. That was nothing."

"Red!" Raul came rushing in. "Camas? Are you alright? I saw this big Orc thing attacking you and I asked Red to help. Lemme heal your injuries."

"He was no help."

"I assumed."

Red turned around to complain. "HEY! I would have been able to beatbothof you if I hadn't been underthathaste; which I'm stillin."

Raul started to laugh. "Red, I can see why Camas refers to you as 'Kid'."

Red walked into the room and sealed it with ice. "Whatever."

BIRD

Post by Zup » Tue Sep 18, 2012 5:59 pm

The bird-like robot picked up on the fighting within the arena, displayed on his minimap as Camas and Vulres duking it out, their threat levels extremely high. He contemplated running in to help Camas, but decided against it. There was no threat for either of them to die, and he had to let them resolve their own issues.

As Bird lead Clarissa to a safe area, the two caught sight of Red sprinting impossibly fast by them, and Bird's computers kicked into gear trying to analyze it. There was some sort of time-manipulating energy about him, similar to one of his own more powerful suit functions.

"Whoa, Bird did you see that?" Clarissa asked.

"Much more clearly than...*click*...you, I would assume," replied the robot.

"Huh?"

"Nothing...*chirp* *chirp*."

"So where are we going?"

Bird's head scoped the scene, his eyes zooming in to certain regions in order to get a good analytic view of the entire scene. Satisfied, he aimed his laser eye beam at a tree branch up ahead, severing the limb. Clarissa squealed and moved away, but Bird stayed calm and caught the branch, setting up the contraption he was currently fiddling with.

"Bird, what are you doing?"

The robot motioned for her to wait a moment. A few more branches were put into place before Bird revealed his odd product. It was bent and folded into a bit of a backpack shape with a long branch extending about a foot above the "body" part of it. He presented it to the girl with a soft, "tada! *chirp*"

"What...what is it?" Clarissa asked, reaching a hand out to touch it. Nothing happened, and she was still left confused.

"Emergency evac...*click*....kit. For you." Bird held the odd contraption to Clarissa, putting it on her back. It was a bit uncomfortable for her, but it wasn't too heavy.

"A...what?"

Bird ruffled her hair and motioned for her to follow him towards the arena. "If danger is ever imminent, just...*click* *click*...pull this." He pointed to a vine on the side of the contraption. "I'll...*chirp*...come and help."

Clarissa still didn't understand, but she trusted Bird immensely, and let it go. It didn't ease her fears about the tournament, though, especially with the sun currently setting on the forest. She looked to the robot, who seemed completely unfazed and at ease, and while it did make her feel safe, it still, deep down, didn't help what she needed help with.

After that Raul guy healed Camas he headed deeper into the Arena. Heading down the same path Vulres had taken he made his way to another chamber. This chamber was slightly smaller in shape and half the room was taken by a stairway.

"I guess a second floor makes sense, it did seem taller on the outside." Camas remarked to no one in particular.

"Come on let's just find some where to rest," Essie protested, tired of being quiet.

"Oh Essie, that's right I almost forgot you were here," Camas said, jokingly. after an irritated scoff from Essie, he continued. "You think there are any beds up there, or are we gonna have to sleep on the floor?"

"Doesn't matter to me," Essie started before yawning. "I'm just exhausted. If you have to pick a fight with a giant, warn me first so I can prepare myself."

"Fine I'll remember that next time I go crazy for a fight." Ever since Camas was a kid, he'd had a problem with his anger. At first he kept it to himself and just took his anger out on pillows, or drew violent pictures depicting people he was mad at getting eaten by various wildlife.

That all got worse when they were taken by Wisdom. The evil corporation Wisdom had kidnapped the kids of their village before burning it down. Camas, Essie and their friends had all been taken to a large underground cage. There were around 12 of them at first but before long their numbers dropped to 6.

When Essie was converted into a Legacy by Wisdom, Camas's anger jump started. She had been like a sister to him, one of the only kids who actually talked to him. He started taking on anyone who even talked to him, and when the guards came in to break it up he'd take them on too. He had no chance at winning, but he couldn't stop himself.

When the Rebels attacked and released them from their prison, they escorted the kids out. That is every kid but Camas he ran off into the building, looking for Essie. He had to avoid both the Wisdom soldiers and the rebels trying to "Help" him, but, eventually he found her. Just not how he expected to.

She had been turned into a weapon but it was still her, he knew it was her. The rebels who were chasing him saw the six weapons and were shocked. No one had any idea Wisdom was capable of such ungodly things.

Now with Essie safely in hand, Camas left with the rebels. And knowing that Essie was alive, his anger was replaced with something else. A thirst for Revenge. He vowed to kill the bastard responsible for Essie's change, and to make her human again.

"Camas?" Essie's voice shook Camas out of his walk through memory lane.

"Sorry, let's just find a bed."

"You had that empty-slash-angry look in your eyes again." Essie pointed out. "You sure you're okay?"

Camas walked up the stairs until he was on the second floor. "Yeah I'm fine let's just get to bed, okay?" Camas headed out a door to his right and was impressed with what he saw. The door opened up into a curving hall like the one below it, the only difference was that the wall to his left was missing.

He looked out to see a large pit of sand nestled in stone. "I'm guessing that's the arena." He said clearly impressed. "I think I'll be able to do some damage down there."

He continued down the hall until he reached another room. It was almost as big as the entrance, but the ceiling was clearly lower. And luckily in the back of the room was what Camas had been searching for: the sweet relief of a bed.

"Oh thank god," Essie said at the beautiful sight.

"I know right," he moved to the bed and laid Essie down first, it was at least a queen so it was no problem giving her her own side. He sat down on his side and removed Essie's sheath from his waist before finally laying down. "Good night Essie."

"Good night Cammy," she said playfully.

Camas growled before turning on his side and saying, "Don't call me that."

Night was beginning to creep in over the tournament grounds, and even though he himself required no sleep, he knew that the organics would. He turned to Clarissa, reaffirming his belief as she rubbed her eyes and yawned.

"Tired?" the robot asked.

Clarissa nodded before hesitating. She didn't want to seem too needy - after all, Bird had helped her every step of the way. She hadn't really done anything for him. Perhaps she should just soldier on. "Not -"

"I have...*click*...located a safe place for you...*chirp*...to rest for the night," Bird responded, interrupting her. He lead the girl to the identified spot on his map, a short distance from the arena. It was a clearing small enough for there to be no real hiding places, large enough for him to utilize his suit and still keep her safe, and in just the right shape for him to be able to keep watch over the entire spot.

Clarissa plopped down on the soft grass, eager for sleep she desperately needed. She stretched her arms and yawned, then looked to Bird, who was just a few feet away, leaning against a tree with his arms folded. "Bird are you gonna sleep?"

The robot looked to the girl, shaking his head. He chirped before saying, "I do not require rest."

"Really?" asked the girl. "Guess I shouldn't be that surprised, though...You're...very different, Bird."

"I am not organic like...*chirp*...you."

"So you never dream?"

Bird shook his head "no" again. He took a quick scan of the region to make sure no one was near. "No. It is not within my capacity...*chirp* *chirp*...But I know about dreams."

"I'm sorry."

The robot turned to her in confusion. "Apologies? You made no...*click*...error."

"No," started Clarissa. "That you don't get to dream. It's wonderful."

"Hm..." Bird contemplated. "Well...*click*...from what I understand...*chirp*...I have contently existed for nine months, seventeen days, twelve hours, and forty-three minutes without...*click* *chirp*...dreaming. It does not seem fundamental."

Clarissa giggled before yawning again. "That's not the point, but...okay I guess. Goodnight Bird."

Bird nodded, silencing himself so that she could slip into sleep easier. His computer began to think more about "dreaming," but since he had no ability to sleep or the capacity to put himself into some sort of sleep mode, it seemed pointless to dwell on.

Instead his mind wandered onto the threat of permanent shutdown that would come with the sunrise. The strategy of killing all the other contestants in their sleep as soon as tomorrow came crossed his mind as the best tactic, but he fought the urge. It didn't feel right. It didn't feel...it didn't feel...

Wait...It didn't feel...

Bird cocked his head to the side. Was he...feeling more emotions?

Raul yawned, his face showed his exhaustion. "Is it late, you wanna sleep while I keep watch?"

"No. I think we'll be fine... Lets just get our rest."

"So, is that haste finally gone?"

Red sighed. "Yeah, I never liked that haste. Fast Forward was always my favorite haste." Red concentrated at the ground below him. "Hard to believe that in a few hours, we will technically be enemies."

Raul slapped Red in the back. "Don't let that bother you!" Raul jumped on Red and gave him a noogie. "We'll figure something out."

Red pushed Raul off him, laughing. "Yeah, that hasteX2 made me think alot."

Raul was about to ask Red about what, but he frankly, he was too tired to bother. "Well. Good night."

"Bonne nuit."

"Hmph."

Red and Raul got into their pre-decided sleeping spots, which made them sleep on the away from each other; one on one wall, and one on the other. The hole/room was about 8 feet wide, and 8 feet high. The hole is actually bigger than what it looks like from outside. As Raul started to doze off on his side. Red remained pensive on the other.

"Darn it. What are those bastards doing? If we survive last, whats gonna happen. Man I hate th-" Red was interrupted by Raul fire bending and snoring; releasing a small puff of fire when ever he gave a loud snore, or when he was cold. "Heh. We'll cross that bridge when we get there."

Red gave Raul another look before he turned to sleep. "Good luck, my brother."

After a night of restless sleep Camas woke up to a beautiful son shining through the door way. He shook himself awake and grabbed Essie.

"Hey, what's the big hurry?" She shouted sleepily.

"That invincibility thing is up now," Camas replied. "We have to be more careful now, we can't trust anyone. All of those guys we met are going to try and kill us."

Essie kept quiet after that, letting the news set in. Everyone was their enemy. They could only trust each other, and everyone is a target.

Camas walked through the door and looked down into the arena pit. He saw the green giant, Vulres lumber out of a hole in the wall, he was yawning and stretching, clearly just getting up. "Maybe we should avoid him first and foremost," said Essie.

"I think you're right."

With a firm grip on Essie, Camas dashed through the halls and down the stairwell. back on the first floor he had to decide whether to head out the way he came or if he'd be safer going deeper into the arena. "What do you think, Essie," he asked. "Left or Right?"

She thought for a second before answering, "Right." She said meaning the way they had come.

"Fine." Camas ran threw the doorway and down the hall until he was in the room he had met Raul and Red. He made his way quietly toward the door, just in case Red and Raul were still sleeping in their hole.

"Goodbye, stupid arena." Camas said as he pushed at the door. "What the?" The door wouldn't budge. "Open you son of a-" With a flash of light Camas was launched from the door into the opposite wall.

"Camas!" Essie shouted, her voice filled with worry.

"I'm fine," he muttered rubbing the spot on his back that had mad contact with the wall. "What the the the the the's up with the door?"

"You won't be able to open that door, Camas."

Camas looked around the room for the source of the voice but couldn't see anyone. "Who's talking?"

"That isn't important. All that's important is that I'm about to announce the fights." Camas heard something like a click and immediately the room became filled with people, both familiar faces as well as faces he had never seen.

Red and Raul were in one corner of the room, Raul was shaking Red awake while Red gently snored.

Bird was standing at attention, clearly confused about how he'd come to be here. Clarissa was right behind him, eyes wide with fear.

He saw Kors, Vulres, and that ninja girl as well, but he didn't have time to see what they were doing because his thoughts were quickly interrupted by e voice.

"The final four to have entered this arena well be fighting today. So if this is your first time seeing this room, get ready to fight."
Red: I've seen a 10-way.
Ram: That's how I met your mother, Red.

Bird's computer raced to process what had just happened in that instant. Clarissa had just woken up and the two were getting ready to head back to the arena when they suddenly appeared at their destination.

His eyes scoped the scene, his body keeping calm with Clarissa hiding behind him. The rest of the competitors were also in the room, and shocked looks were on all of their faces...they must have been abruptly brought into this room as well.

Remembering that permanent shut down was now viable, his scanners were quick to detect everyone's health levels.

Health scan in progress...Vulres Hellscream...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Camas...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Red...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Raul...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Ryuka...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Kors...health levels...100%

Health scan in progress...Clarissa...health levels...100%

All at maximum health levels...it was no wonder then that they were all gathered together at this point. His computer deduced that that could only mean they were all about to finally fight one another, this time with their lives at stake.

The other two competitors were unknown to him. One was a woman dressed in some sort of regal dress with a snake on her shoulder. She appeared to be physically human, but Bird detected some latent energy of some sorts within her. The other also had the physical stature of a human, but this time male. He was clothed in a hooded jacket and wielded a rather large scythe over his shoulders. He appeared to be the only other competitor that didn't display confusion at being transported to the arena.

Bird's defense systems were ready to be activated upon a nanosecond's notice. He did not desire to kill any of them, but knew that if his or Clarissa's lives were in danger, he would have no choice in the matter...His combat tactics would completely take over.

Suddenly his computer observed the room they were in - or, rather, the hidden mechanisms outside of the walls. They were circular machines of some sort, and they were heating up as if they were preparing for use. He even detected larger versions beneath the ground below them all.

Raul shook Red vigorously. He knew that Red was a heavy sleeper, and he tends to let him sleep, but now wasn't the time. "Red, get up."

Red flinched, but went back to sleep.

"Okay, that's it," Raul stood up; he was never a morning person. "Get the the the the the up; NOW!"

Red flinched again, but was still unresponsive.

Raul moved his hands for 5 seconds. A crackle could be hear coming from his hands, catching Bird's attention. "Wake, UP!" Raul pointed his fingers right toward Red's spine.

"Dahhhhhahahhahahhahahahahahahahahah." Red's hair started to stand up. "What the the the the the? Raul?" He kept twitching

Raul pointed towards the main arena, all the contestants were present, confused, but present. "They just appeared." Raul started to heal the injury he caused.

Interesting.

Bird initiated a quick scan of Raul once again. He noticed something he hadn't before.

It seems he can control his combustion to the point where electricity is created. Although powerful, it doesn't seem to affect to his physical status. But still something that can badly injure any regular human.

Bird then started to analyze the light that surrounded Red. It seems to be a small light that heals injuries, although it doesn't cure as much as one would expect, his first thought was Clarissa. In the event that she needed healing, she might need that light therapy.

"Clarissa... *chirp* how are you feeling?"

The girl looked up, everybody was confused, but arguably, she was the most puzzled. "F-fine... But.. How did we get here?"

"*Chirp* Permanent Shutdown now viable, we must prepare for *chirp* confrontation *click*."

The girl hugged her legs, she was scared, but she swallowed the lump in her throat to speak. "How did we get here? Did we teleport here or something?"

"There seems to be a *chirp* teleporter under this whole building. I *chirp* believe we are being taken somewhere else *click*."

"We'll? How long do we have?" Clarissa jumped at the sound of Red behind her; he was followed by Raul. He looked at her with a fake smile. "Don't worry, you'll be fine."

Raul looked at Red. Red already knew what he was thinking. He gave Raul a: Yeah, I know. That was for me. face.

Bird was a little concerned. He didn't see why they would approach the two if they didn't have a plan for survival. He decided to scan the two:

Scanning...
Scanning...
No hostility detected
Heart-rate increase detected

Heart-rate? Bird studied and came to a conclusion: Red lied when he told Clarissa everything would be alright. So... even he knows the danger she will encounter.

"We have about *chirp* 10 minutes before we teleport."
