RP- The Great War: A Story of Soldiers. Character Thread

Okay, well a while ago, while we were playing our favorite RP, Furanda, I had the bright idea to suggest we make another RP based on the war in the Karisto Kingdom. Now everyone is reminding me to make it since it was my idea. See, I'd love to make an RP, but here's the punchline... All I know about the war is who fought in it.
But that doesn't mean I'm gonna give up, I'll just be needing a little help from some people who are better informed in this area (K, Sise, Night, and yes even you Red). So with out further ado, here is the Character Thread.
Now everyone is aloud one character, until that character dies. Yes, that's right in this RP dying is gonna happen alot more then others, it is a war after all. If your character dies then you can either create a new character or jump into an NPC with the permission of that NPC creator's permisson. Now, a system that is a little like the lottery here is going to be what determines if your character dies. Once every 10 days 1 name will be drawn to be killed, but just like the lottery, no one could be chosen, or an NPC could.
Which brings me to the next part. Along with your Player Character, or PC, you can also create up to 3 NPC's or Non Player Characters. These characters can be controlled by anyone, and as long as they aren't made to do something totally outrageous and out of character it's all cool.
Well now to the most important part that that I expect Red to skip down to.
Character Template
Name: Character's name. Pretty self explanatory lol
Side: Who do they fight for?
Rank: Rank in the army
Appearance: Picture prefered but at least describe em
Weapon: What do they fight with
Seru: Their Seru
Background: Hometown, Family, anything you want to reveal about him to your fellow RPers
Reason For Joining The Fight (Optional): Why they joined the war
So just post your characters now and The actual RP will come soon.
