[RPG] Sebucus Islands - Furanda (Chapter 1 - Closed)

Ram was asleep and Marelle decided to get out of the house for some fresh air. Before she left though she made a very convincing dummy out of straw, clay and some other thing just hanging around the house. When she was done she laid it next to Ram and left the house. She wasn't sure why she left it, she just thought that Ram might be safer if people didn't think he was left alone in his house.

Marelle -having been a thief before she met Ram- wasn't the type to take walks when she needed air, like normal people. Marelle looked up in to the sky and decided it looked beautiful. She made a quick jump to a foothold on the side of the house, just an inch above the door. From there she easily climbed to the roof and made her self as comfortable as she could. She stared up into the clouds wondering what could be just beyond them and the stars.

As she was getting lost in her thoughts, a sound from below awoke her form her day dreams. She scooted to the edge of the roof and looked down. A man rushed out of the house, carrying her dummy and laughing maniacally. He looked familiar to her but she couldn't place him. Then a thought came to her; This must be DV. Crazy, ugly, in a cloak it has to be DV.

She watched him go around the house. When he got there and was sure no one was watching DV tied up the dummy and he even grouped it. Marelle assumed that DV didn't realize that he was molesting a dummy. Ewww Pervert. She thought. He kept muttering to himself and then he finished it all by tying the dummy in the tree and running away toward the Inn.

Ram needed to know what happened, so Marelle jumped to the back of the house and climbed into the house through the window not wanting to risk the front door. She was going to wake Ram right up but seeing him look so peaceful changed her mind. So instead she went to the door, locked it and then moved to a comfortable chair to play sentry for her companion.

Wulf worried more with every sip of his drink. The longer he stayed here the further away DV would get. But Red was a friend, he couldn't leave without helping him. Wulf finished his drink and ordered one more. He hoped Red was wrong. Why would Ram stab Red. They were friends, too. Wulf's drink was gone before he knew it. He didn't even remember drinking it. It was time to head back to Ram's house.

Ram awoke to the pleasant sight of Marelle dozing off in a chair. Ram didn't want to wake her. She'd had a hard day but he needed something he hadn't had since he left Jeremi. A nice hard drink. Ram got out of bed and kissed Marelle's forehead. "Narok, stand guard and kill anyone who comes in here." Ram commanded. "Besides me."

Ram stood outside his locked door and looked up at the moon, Beautiful night. He thought. THen he turned his attention toward the Inn. He wasn't sure what to expect when he walked in, but at this point he didn't care, he just needed a relaxing drink. Ram headed to the Inn and opened the door it was pretty empty except for a man with an empty mug in front of him. Ram moved to the bar. "I'll take an Electric Soren." Ram ordered the strongest drink they served back in Jeremi and sat in a stool.

Wulf was about to stand when Ram sat down next to him and ordered a drink. Ram didn't even notice it was Wulf. Wulf turned in his stool to face Ram.

"Hello, Ram. Just the man I wanted to see. I heard quite a story recently from...a friend at Sol Inn. Now, I have questions. Was it you who killed Red? If it was then why did you do it? Is the Deadly Virus involved?"

*K7 went straight back to his home after the encounter with wulf. He had no reason to even look inside the inn for anyone... Just to go home and prepare for some trouble. After wulf spotted him with dv, there's likely to be some trouble. K7 did all the usual precautions and went underground to his secret lab.*

I might have to move out of here... If they all start to find out or speculate, I can't stay here longer. They'll try to murder me...

[Rammerrush]

"Red's dead.....? What? How?" Ram was putting on his best show, he need to convince Lone he was innocent. "I had no idea. I had left him at Sol to visit a friend I came right back here afterward. Well looks like I have a real reason to drink now. How did you find out he was dead," Ram grabbed the mug and chugged a hearty amount of alcohol. "and why would you suspect me?"

Wulf didn't want to suspect Ram, but he wasn't buying his surprise.

"I'm a Sol Soldier, Ram. I know almost everyone in Sol. I stopped by the Inn for information, I was having trouble locating the Deadly Virus. A friend saw a man fleeing from the Inn. Red's body was found right after. My friend described to me the fleeing man, I was curious if it was DV....but the man he described sounded a lot like you. I think you did it, Ram. But I don't know why. You don't strike me as a cold-blooded killer. You're no Deadly Virus. So why kill your on friend?"

Lone was a tougher nut to crack then Ram expected. But he wasn't going to spill the beans that easy. "You're lying. I saw you leave Sol long before I left, so you're lying. Which means one of two things: Either you killed him, or more likely Red isn't dead." The words came from his mouth as a way to knock Lone off his feet but as they reached his ears Ram realized Red being alive was the only plausible explanation. Even though he was suprised he kept a mask of anger on during the whole conversation. "So which is it Lone? Are you a liar or a killer?"

Wulf just smiled.

"I'm a soldier, Ram. Of course i'm a killer. But as I said, my search for DV was going nowhere. So I returned to Sol. I know where to gather the latest info and rumors. I was desperate for information so I visited an old friend at the inn. I didn't kill Red...but i'm betting you did. It's the 'why' that's bugging me. Are you ready to talk, Ram?"

[Rammerrush]

Ram couldn't help but laugh. This soldier was trying to trick him. Well two could play at that game. "So you expect me to believe that you, a self proclaimed soldier, believes that someone as good at fighting and as clever as Red was killed because of what? A few rumors you heard at a pub on the otherside of the world." Ram stood up, knocking over the stool in the process. "Your lying to me Lone. That much is clear. What isn't clear is why. I don't think Red is dead, but if I find out he is and he was in fact murdered, then I'm gonna find you and I'm gonna get revenge for him." With that Ram clamly walked out the Inn, and with his face hidden from the eyes of others he couldn't hold back his smile. That should give him something to think about. He thought.
