*business at the club was going steady. DV began to earn alittle extra side gold from muleing drugged healing leaves. He suspected the Sol Cafe a few floors up was doing the same thing. Not being the competitive type, DV decided to take action. He decided to play it more tactical like instead of relying on his traditional approach. Instead of just going there and cracking heads with his shovel, or sending one of his toughs, he hired 2 "leaf fiends" to spy on them. They were loyal to who ever gave them the most drugs, and weren't the type who'd double cross.*

*heading to the ground floor of his club (his office was just up some stairs), he poured himself a shot of whiskey*

"When it comes to a base of opperations, you can't beat a f***ing club!" he said to himself and took the shot, drinking it from the tiny slit in his mask where his mouth was.

"Spend some f***ing money eh?!" he shouted at a crowd of people who cheered him on

If you're referring to the people in the games fusing with the Seru, they're supposed to have been able to do that since the Seru existed. I'm guessing you're referring to a different type of fusing?

*K7 woke up to realize what he's not tried doing with the doors of darkness. He attempted at working at them and thinks he may have finally found a solution. He worked at it...and then decided it must be complete. Unfortunately, he'd have to test them out. He created what he had seen as an anti-dote to the doors of darkness. Only one antidote he has created, with no blueprints. He didn't want someone accidentally finding them.*

*K7 used the door of darkness*

... I didn't feel anything. I wonder if it worked...

*So K7 went up the stairs to attempt a leave of the lab. Right at the end of the stairs, not even at the entrance, he felt an immense pain pushing inside his body. He stepped back and fell on one knee*

Yes...It worked... Now I better hope this antidote works or else I may be stuck down here for a very long time...

The beast charged forward again. Wulf (barely) sidestepped in time and stabbed it through it's knee. The beast bellowed and fell forward. Wulf quickly leaped in the air and plunged the sword through the base of it's spine. It didn't get back up, and never would. Wulf cleaned his blade of the beasts reeking blood. That was the worst part of killing them. The putrid stench. Like rotted flesh tinged with a sickly sweetness. Having finished his task, Wulf returned to Sol Tower to claim his payment from the inn keeper.

After handing over the payment, the inn keeper informed Wulf that no more jobs had become available. Wulf hated when things slowed down. It gave him too much time to think. Wulf knew he needed a good cleaning. He stank and his now-long hair and shaggy beard were matted with sweat and grime. He headed back to his room to take care of it. After cleaning, Wulf stored away all but a fair portion of his gold. Free time was a dangerous thing and Wulf had no intention of getting lost in thought. He decided to head to the new bar/club that had opened up. Usually, Wulf avoided people like the plague. But he figured the loud music and a hefty dose of spirits would do him some good.

Wulf groaned a bit upon entering the club. It was packed with people and the music was ear-shattering loud. But there was an empty seat at the bar. Wulf sat down, slammed a coin-pouch on the bar and yelled at the masked person behind it "Bring me a glass and your strongest spirit."

Ram pulled his knife out of the beasts stoumach and wiped it off on a tree.
Thats the fourth one this week, i wonder where the the the the the these things are coming from.
He had been living with Marelle these past three months, with Narok and the female gimard that he seemed to have chosen as his mate. These monsters had steadily been increasing their appearence since then, they were like nothing he had ever seen before and they were starting to bug him.
Looks like i might have to go see whats going on soon.

As DV was wiping down the counter from spit and spilt booze, he noticed a solider fellow asking for a drink. He poured a drink and handed it to him.

"Finest burbon from Buma. Those filthy hippies atleast know how to do one thing right." DV said.. after he paused because he knew who the man was. That over zealous freak who was mad about the death of the king.

"Pardon me for a brief moment." DV said as he walked away.

"Cy, follow me into the back". DV said to Cy, his loyal tough guy. He was built like a tank and looked like a cowboy. He was terrified of DV for some reason.... probably he knew he'd lose his head if he broke loyalty.

Once in the back office:

"See that solider looking fellow at the end there." DV said refering to lone

"Yup.. what about him?"

"I think he intends to do me harm. We had a few scuffles in the past. He's mad that I killed the king of Sol." DV explained while downing a shot of whiskey

"How'd he walk away alive?" Cy said... the murdering of the king gave him one more reason to be scared of his boss

"I'll spare you the details.. Lets just say Fate is a loopy whore... anyway, keep an eye on him. Thanks to this mask, he doesn't recognize me. Maybe I could put him to work..."

Back at the bar

"Sorry to leave you my good sir, shall I pour you another drink? And might I ask you to join me in my back office. I could use a man of your stature if you're interested in some work." DV said to lone

Ordinarily, Wulf would be suspicious of a masked-man asking him to go somewhere private. But, Wulf was known around Sol as being a kind of mercenary...and the drink was quite stout...so Wulf agreed to another drink and agreed to meet the man in his office. Besides, the club was so packed, Wulf figured someone would notice if he didn't return. That could be bad for a clubs business. Wulf wasn't a fool, though. He'd brought along a few knives, hidden about his person. Just in case...not to mention the Seru he had equipped.

The 3 men walked into the back office. DV brought a bottle with him.

"Take a seat son". DV said to Wulf, gesturing to a chair as DV said in a chair oppisote.

"Pardon Cy back there.. he's a little over protective... not that I need it much." DV bragged before opening the bottle and pouring him and Wulf a drink. "My name is DJ Pestilence. Now I have a need of your type... I got some work that needs be doing and help is short these days."

DV signaled for Cy to leave the room

"Now i'm sure you like money and since I have lots of it since this club has been such a hit.... though some of my tasks might go against certain people's moral codes. The first job i'd have you do is rough up some folks... They own a warehouse building near the upper crust of this s*** hole. They also like to steal. They have a crate of some cargo that belongs to me. Its a large green box that says "For Club Cesspit". You can't miss it."

DV leaned back in his chair for a minute before saying

"I'll pay 700g. 200 upfront, the other 500 upon returning my crate. And.. You've got to believe the job would open the door to your future, and you gotta believe you'd make your こし hundreds of thousands more in the future.... providing this one is a success. "
