ok guys.....think of this...my last idea...in Regaia Densetsu (true legaians should know what that is) people try to take the remaining seru and modify them (because teig explains how humans evil grows throughout the story because of seru) and make something new, and powerful (mechanical like) and people use this tech to cure ever useful seru from this plague (which like teig said, the seru will, too, die off; and this is how) and they become corrupted! thanx to the seru i mentioned earlier and start killing people off... and if you remember my story then you can finish the rest
well what do guys think? (i mostly care for k7's and sise's posts...ram can say something too....otherwise anybody can say whats on your minds)

Hmm...I'm not too sure that would work out because it would be in contradiction with LoL's story. Not to mention, Dr. Usha already tells Vahn that experimenting won't help in the least. "First of all, you do know that no more Seru will be created anymore, yes? Our good friends in Sol are still experimenting, but it’s no use. With Uru Mais destroyed and the Seru-kai gone, no new Seru will ever appear again. What’s more, the Seru already here are gradually losing their power. My calculations show that most of the Seru will die off in the next year or so."

Basically, an explanation would have to be created for as to how Seru can be saved with technology when the very source of their power has been destroyed (Great Genesis Tree) as well as their home dimension (Seru-kai). The only way for Seru to be saved would be if the story made it so Tieg decided to create Seru again and restore the Seru-kai...but I think that would be a cop-out, honestly. Plus, one would have to explain why Tieg would restore the source of the Seru's power and allow them to remain in Legaia when originally he wanted to have humans and Seru kept apart forever. Maybe if it was set far in the future when human potential has allowed them to create awesome technology and an evil person made some violent tech or something...that's one way I can see technology playing a role in the story, but not for saving the Seru.

I (somewhat saw a creation completely different... Like mutation making it ascend to that higher than a seru, and I also thought of tieg or rem saying that humans have grown too attached and will die off w/o seru.. So its the matter of that happening and the research in sol and creating the story line

What I was thinking is what if something is created that converts humans too Seru but they just tell people that they found a solution to the seru problem. they dont mention the solution is human sacrifice

But covering up something to that proportion would be harder than covering up the Seru Bride situation...Which everyone was already becoming aware of in the city. But taking random people from around Legaia and turning them into Seru? idk..

All I know is.... 1. The majority of the seru die within that year
2. if it possible, only tieg should be able to do something
I was thinking since the mist is useless since again... There are no more seru if not a bundle of seru i thought we could use it to test the whole 'stopping of aging' mentioned by the draken scientist how it stop aging and diseases... The only way a possessed seru dies is If it's killed by another seru or a person ( and if it's a person) removing the seru

Yeah, the only way that anything would make sense is, as you stated, if Tieg did something. Anything done by man would just seem "far-fetched" and it would really only make sense if Tieg went through a long healing process.

Good point about the ageless stuff. I totally forgot about that...

Well, it was certainly the case according to Dr. Usha that the Seru-kai was destroyed when the Great Genesis Tree perished at the end of the game. Therefore, the fact that the Seru eventually died off and were the stuff of legend is canonical, and a sequel should take this into account. However, that doesn't preclude that the Seru-kai can't come back to life or be revived/rebuilt by Tieg. Tieg is said to be immortal, and being the equivalent of god, it would not be beyond his (or should I say His) ability to do so.

To answer the more direct question, the idea I'm using for my fan-fic is that when the spirit of Hari entered the Great Genesis Tree, its life was prolonged for only a small time - perhaps a week or two. However, at this time, the tree also created a single seed. Even though the tree itself died, the seedling eventually sprouted 100 years later (as time passes in the human world). As a result, the Seru-kai came back to life, and Seru were reborn, both in their world and the world of Legaia. The repercussions of this event are the driving force behind the plot.
