honestly i liked Legaia 1's better, It's like the whole thing wasnt started just for the protaganist. like the mist wasnt made just to mess with Vahn it was made to rule the world, you know what i mean?

Well I like that idea. What im thinking is theres a balanced norm and then someone or some thing or organization trys and destroy that norm

I think it should definitely avoid having the problem start at the very beginning. While it would be good to see the origins of the conflict, it is, again, too cliche. It's too weird having, say, the protagonist turn 17 years old and on the same day, he has to leave on an adventure to save the world. It makes it feel like the story is built FOR the kid, when a much more believable one would just be the main character getting involved

exactly thank you, the way i see it id rather have the kid be thrust into a conflict rather than the conflict look for the kid and say hi, come and get me

And by cliche you mean using hope to win a battle? Cuz really everybody in that village fought against Avalon (well, all the hunters). And because Lang was a mystic, he got farther than everybody else...
Look at KH1; sora wasnt even the owner of the keyblade... Riku was...
Thus making sora a powerless kid once again; BUTTA! that didn't stop him from continuing on with his quest...

I just meant in general, the protagonists are usually ~17 >_>
Hope (and the power of friendship too) to win serious, deadly battles is a major cliche that I'm not sure anybody even likes anymore.
And KH is not a good defense against cliches. It's pretty much the definition of a cliched JRPG
