ZOMG RED WHAT'S GOING ON?!


I'm gonna tell yah, just sit tight and prepare for ultimate brain explosion to the 12th degree. Alright, from now until January 15, 2015 (1 month), we are doing a Legend of Legaia Raffle. The winner of the raffle will win a (like new) Legend of Legaia game for the PS1. Note that this game is in the NTSC-US format. So either you must have a console that reads that, or you might be able to use an emulator (NOTE DON'T USE IT ON A FOREIGN CONSOLE OR IT MIGHT RUIN BOTH THE GAME AND THE CONSOLE ITSELF). Things to know when trying to enter:

* Donate a minimum of $10 per ticket. Maximum of 10 tickets per person.
* Must be a member of the forums with at least 5 posts. It's not too late to join! Join now if you want to join the raffle!
* There are no refunds for tickets AFTER the raffle has closed. ur money has chosen us as its new master
* Must enjoy Legend of Legaia! Easiest rule, right? (But seriously I will banhammer you if you don't meet this requirement ).


All money donated will go straight to the website, so your money will not be only a ticket. That means us staying around for a much longer time while we work hard to upgrade the site to a future design. Also, there will be no counter for the number of tickets that we've received. You WILL receive a notification that we got your donation and you have <#> tickets in place. After the "closing" date, we will run a programmed random generator for all the names in the draw to see who wins. Don't worry, it will be much more random than a simple "random" object you see in many programming languages! (Supplied by the great founder K73SK).

but most of us already got LoL, that's why we're on this site, we play LoL. (I got 3 copies btw) plus you can buy it preowned off ebay for less than $10. plus if you bought max of 10 tickets, that's $100, you could buy 4 LoL games NEW off ebay. No offense but bad idea. Had to say it.

Show me a *NEW* copy of the game on eBay for $25. Also show me one in excellent quality (like-new) on eBay for less than $10. I just checked, they don't exist so either I'm doing the search wrong or you're over exaggerating. The point of the raffle is to 1.) Help the site with donations since most people aren't doing them, 2.) Give people the opportunity to get a like-new copy of the game with the case and booklet for only $10 (or however many tickets they buy), 3.) To get some activity on the forums rather than what we have had recently (that part failed), and 4.) To see how much activity we can actually get for the raffle. If we get virtually no donations because of this raffle, it's unlikely we'll have any kind of raffle in the future. There are several different raffle ideas I have in mind, but if this fails, then I'm just going to say never mind to it.

Ehhh, Very Good $30, but my friend bought a new or very good condition Legend of Legaia game for $7.99 a while back, i got my 3rd Legaia game used in great shape from a thrift shop for $0.99 btw I are demo discs of legaia worth anything?

XBOX ONE GiveAway?

Heh, no. If I could afford the Xbox One in the first place... lol. The site's definitely not popular enough to even risk trying to do an Xbox One raffle. You have to realize that it's out of pocket for the raffle for me, so if we don't make enough sells on the raffle, I lose money rather than profiting (hence making it harder for the site, actually). So for there to be any profit on the site, there'd need to be a certain amount of tickets purchased to make the raffle even worth it.

Btw... At least $1,000,000,000 prize. How do I donate $, no credit card, and can I send you Legaia 2 so there will be another prize, I'll even put up CoD 4 (MW1)

But seriously, not everyone here has the PS1 disk. A lot of them are using emulators instead. Finding one in perfect condition for a reasonable price is usually difficult, too. The "Very Good" or "Like New" conditions you see on Ebay/Amazon often mean "Beyond Repair".

but... why... I keep finding them at my local thriftshops and retrogaming stores, can't be too hard to find right? Millions of copies were made in the U.S. or is that a few million worldwide? I didn't know this game was worth that much. Wait... How much are they worth? Should I sell 2 of my copies for a huge profit? Btw, sware I'll put up Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask Gold Cartridge for N64 as a prise for the raffle, btw PS1 at retro gaming stores and thriftshops, cheap as the the the the. As in less than $50.

There're pretty rare in the Market bruh. Took me five years to finally find one in NYC; they're only a few million worldwide. And yeah don't trust all those copies online.


Imagine how many of those have been broken, scratched, or lost.


I'm convinced there's no more new copies out there. So yes, like G-Pow said, this IS a good opportunity for some.
