Banned IP Addresses - mistakes

Hello everyone,
I was in the process of banning IP addresses showing activity of false accounts that resembled spam. However, in the process, it seems that some IP's that actually belong to some members on the site were accidentally banned.
There are two scenarios... One is that I just made a mistake and accidentally banned some IP's I shouldn't have. The second scenario is that some bots spoof their IP's to match the IP's of members on the site. This means that they'd log in looking like they're using your IP address so that when I ban it, it doesn't actually ban their legitimate IP.
Because of this, I've lifted all those IP's and just wanted to say I'm really sorry for any problems that happened. I'll be a lot more cautious in the future when using the banning of IP addresses.
