Re: Community
Well. A lot. Buuuuut:
- Plenty of pop-culture references
- References to TV and them being "like TV show characters"
- Racism and other stereotypes
- utters and butts
- How crappy their school is
- Gay
And then there are plenty of "deep/emotional/developmental" moments usually accompanied by the group understanding one another and a killer speech from Jeff.
And usually somebody gets snarky about it.

it really do be like that tho
Re: Community
1 is good, but the characters are different from how they usually are/at their best. I attribute this to the show not finding its strengths yet. Fairly realistic all around.
2 is phenomenal. Still transitioning (at least during the earlier episodes), but it's amazing stuff. It's a little more serious than the later seasons (like not-as-goofy serious).
3 is also amazing. Few misses here and there, tho none that are major. This is when everyone is at the essence of their character. Gets kinda goofy and unrealistic. Totally awesome tho.
4 is weak. Doesn't play off of the show's strengths. Characters are written well enough, but the creator of the show was absent during this season so it was lacking.
5 is prolly not gonna be all that great. Donald Glover is leaving, and he's the best character on the show. But the creator is back, so that's a plus.
