I hate this game, it's community, it's creators, and the horrible effects it has caused to the gaming industry. I hate it so much that I have ended friendships because that person liked it. Am I the only one.

Pretty much everyone on the Internet hates CoD

Let me clear that up in case there's some confusion
I don't like Call of Duty
I also don't hate Call of Duty
What I do like:
- I've had some fun screwing around with friends in multiplayer
- They put some 野菜 effort into making their campaigns (even if I didn't care for any of em)
- They've provided the platform for tons of hilarious jokes about them
What I don't like:
- Playing online (I suck)
- Playing for more than 30 min at a time (I suck)
- Their whiny, annoying fanbase (They suck)
- Their whiny, annoying haters (They suck)

Not a fan of shooting games. But I certainly wouldn't end a friendship because of one, if its that easy to break, then they weren't really friends in the first place.
Don't see the point of shooting games, can't be to just shoot... >____>

Ehh, I really was just exaggerating. But I blame CoD for the 質 that is the new Final Fantasy games.

It wasn't Call of Duty that affected the new FF games directly (overall anyway). It's the condition of the industry and the market.
If you wanna blame anyone, blame the hordes of CoD fans who continue to buy the games and the hordes of CoD haters who aren't supporting the styles of games you like in a strong enough way to warrant developers and publishers to make games like those instead.

When I say that I blame CoD, that's pretty much what I mean. The affects of the gaming industry are caused by the CoD community.
