First off,

LLF Fact: story, last, and the are too common of words to use in the forums search engine.

I just started playing The Last Story, one of the few Wii games that are worth playing. The game moves very quickly, which I find to be great, considering my backlog.

Yep, so discuss withe me!

Been wanting to play this for a bit, although Xenoblade Chronicles took huge priority over it (and I'm not disappointed)

What other RPGs would you compare it to?

I've been dying to play Xenoblade, stupid gamestop. I only had to chance to play The Last Story because my friend lend it to me, and his Wii console.

Tough to say, basically it's an action rpg, where you play as one character, the AI plays the rest of your party and you're able to issue commands. Battles aren't random, and they take place in the same field like.

Super Smash bros Brawl
Metroid Prime 3

Not really big into SMG1&2 or Skyward Sword, what's your list?

Well I can say you likely won't be disappointed. Fantastic game. Award shows totally robbed it tho >____>

From that descrip it kinda sounds like Xenoblade and FFX (sorta). Haven't seen gameplay footage in a bit (been tryna keep it as much a secret as possible for when I actually play it)

As far as what I think people could enjoy without too much dedication to any series. List is much shorter than I would hope for a system (especially a Nintendo console \ ) but some of those games rank among the best this gen (imo) so I can't complain too much

Probably closer for FFXII, but yeah you'll probably enjoy it.

And I liked the sequel a bit more, but maybe because I wasn't a huge fan of the first (I played Abyss first)

How are the characters? Interesting? Kinda cliche?

Hard to have non cliche characters, but a couple of them are pretty interesting, some of them are just there. They're a good group together though.

Story of Symphonia II isn't as good as the original, and it's a point-and-click map instead of a typical RPG-style overworld, but the music is still good and the battle system has been refined (you can free-roam on the battle now). Lots of people say that Emil sucks because he's whiny, but I find him endearing and relatable.
