Dungeons and Dragons!

So...being the uber-nerd that I am, I have to ask: How many of you have played D&D at some point in your lives? How many of you play it still? Go into details if you like!
I first got into D&D when 2nd Edition first came out. I went with my parents to visit some relatives. Out in the garage/game room were 2 of my younger cousins and one of my older (alot older, and female) cousins were playing some game....they had paper, pencils and dice EVERYWHERE. They were just starting and invited me to play. The game was, of course, Dungeons and Dragons. I made my first ever character: A Gnome fighter named Hades (I had recently watched Disney's Hercules, lol). Countless fits of laughter soon ensued...we had a blast the entire time we played. Me and the youngest cousin were heated rivals, my Gnome always getting the better of his Dwarf. The other of my younger cousins decided his character was a female Dwarf who was named Chyna (named after the female wrestler) who he played as a super-buff feminist (we were too young to even know what a feminist was, lol). The older cousin was the Dungeon Master of course, but also played a character (a Pixie). The DM was only in town for a visit and soon she left to go back to her home town (2 states away), but she left us her books. From then on we took turns being DM and tried having D&D sessions weekly. It only lasted a couple months but they were some awesome times, lol. I still buy D&D products to this day but there isn't much of a point to it. No one I know plays anymore and I don't care much for online sessions. Just isn't the same when you aren't all around a table bickering with each other, lol. And so I shall leave you with this...a youtube video so frightfully accurate to my childhood gaming sessions that I nearly died from laughing.
