360 cannot play blu-ray. And yes, PS3 is superior (except in the case of Skyrim...dunno what's up with that).

I think that people really don't like to see the technology that's really behind the device. At the time it came out, it's easily the most advanced gaming technology we had and because of it, many greater things are coming into existence. Those are just first-page results from Google. I've seen tons of more inspired technologies that were only thought of thanks to the technology the Kinect has provided us. Although it was made for gaming purposes, the power it presents in all has pushed us forward by a lot. What has the PlayStation move done?
You should also check out many of the "hacks" people have made using the Kinect. You'll find that it is quite a big deal.
