He's a character from a series of books based on the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, so...yeah, pretty much.

I've been meaning to get to the forgotten realms books... But I'm going to purchase a hard copy of the lord of the rings trilogy + hobbit + silmarillion + the other good stuff first. Then I'll start on forgotten realms.

I haven't actually read any of the Forgotten Realms books yet. But I will get to them eventually.

So, then, am I the only one currently involved in a regular, ongoing campaign? I hesitate to say D&D since it's Pathfinder, but there's little difference between the two, so... yeah.

Currently, yes...i assume. I would be if the only players i know weren't whiny 'rules-lawyers'. But, I'm a 'power-gamer' so i'm not much less annoying, lol. I occasionally spend my free time (when I have it) just rolling new characters. I like the creation process.

Suffice it to say, I got some very bad stats. Our GM went with a fairly high-powered scheme for devising characters since some of us (including myself) were new to any form of tabletop RPG...

So, there are characters (players) with multiple 16's and 17's for base stats. I rolled right around 13's. Although I did get some quite OP'ed armor at level 2.
