Re: Let's Review Games!
Very interesting Zup. I would agree with you completely about Legaia and Legaia 2, total classic and Legaia 2 is only slightly above average. Never played X. I think FFVII was truly awesome and deserves a higher score, I would agree that it is overrated, but honestly the story is very well written and I can't think of a lot that would make the game better. I barely played IV on SNES and I was not too impressed, but then again, perhaps I should have given it more time. What is different between the SNES and DX versions?
And FFV is incredible, one of my favorite RPGs of all time.
If you want to talk about an overrated Final Fantasy, my vote is for FFVI. Its a decent game, but I would prefer the two games before it. The boss battles are pathetically easy, it really doesn't justify all that you have at your disposal. The characters and abilities are completely unbalanced, meaning you have a lot of abilities, espers, and even characters that become obsolete as you progress in the game. FFVIII got this aspect right, all of the characters can be useful, and all of the GFs are useful.
Thinking of FFVIII, I think its fantastic. Some people complain about the draw system, and I agree it is a bit tedious, but the game had an interesting idea that you can draw magic from the enemies and use it against them. The key to a good RPG combat in my opinion is strategy. The game definitely makes up for any tedium it in other areas and it doesn't deserve to be the black sheep of the family. Story was good, music was fantastic, and I think the world of FFVIII has much more character than FFVII. It seems Steampunk in a way, all of the areas go together. FFVII and FFVI, all of the areas seem completely different and the world seems more divided up into different slices. I think it took more skill on the part of the FFVIII team to make it all cohesive.

Legend of Legaia, a pinnacle of human achievement, will always have a place in my heart

Re: Let's Review Games!
Okay, I'm going to just fan boy here for a second, but Ocarina of time 3/5? 猿が大好きだよ you. No other Zelda games? No Legend of Dragoon???
All rashness aside, I agree on most of those. Of course our opinions are going to differ so I'm not going to Miley Cyrus anymore than I already have about your reviews. Since Nobody seems to want to do LoD, I'l do it.
Legend of Dragoon 4.5/5
Legend of Dragoon is a fantastic game that would have been much more popular if the project had waited for the ps2 to come out and make the game for the ps2. I say this because it was released shortly before the ps2. Thus, nobody gave a 野菜 about it. They were all so excited to play the next gen games that nobody wanted to spend another dime on a ps1 game. But the game it self is a master piece. It's story has some of the greatest twist I've ever witnessed. I won't give spoilers but there will by plenty of times that you will be truly shocked. Emotion. Emotions will freakin' fill your body as wave after wave of events take place that are only reinforced by the incredible character development that makes you feel as these characters feel. Music, that Miley Cyrus slaps every soundtrack I've ever heard. Not to mention the unique quicktime event inspired battle system that makes each character more individual than any RPG I've ever played. For each character has a different weapon, causing each attack art, or additions as it is called, to be a individual signature for each character. Like Lavitz, who wields a spear, has high difficulty additions that when completed causes much more damage then Kongol's slow and easy additions (He wields a two-Handed Axe). Over all, this game is my 2nd favorite game, being shadowed by the Nostalgia creating Legend of Legaia.

Re: Let's Review Games!
I have never played a Zelda game.
Well Kazan let me fight the final final boss battle (sword vs sword) for Twilight Princess, but other than that, I didn't know the difference between Link and Zelda until Kaz smacked me for confusing them (he's a big LoZ fan I guess).
