I actually like Veronica Taylor; she catches his personality well.

Further proof that Pokemon is intended for adults...and mathematically-oriented autistic people regardless of age.

Hurray from mathematically-oriented autistics such as myself!

But still, it does seem like Pokemon is focused towards kids.

It is for kids as far as its image and marketing goes -- it very much relies on the young child demographic for sales. Or did, maybe. You can see that a lotta adult fans of the games have been playin' 'em since they were little tykes, so the brand revolves around netting those young kids in and maintaining 'em as they grow. They earn your blind trust and then burrow into your heart so deep that you keep comin' back and forkin' over the dough for the new ones.

But beyond that, nah. That goes for pretty much everything, really. Whether you wanna dissect plots or dig deep into the technical components of a game or make fansites and discuss the brand on forums, there's a big community of adults behind alla that.

And all that porn is from and for the adults. There's so much. So, so much.

Not to mention Pokemon is barely 2 decades old iirc--isn't Sailor Moon older than that?

Pretty much what happened, yes. Though my argument would it be it WAS for kids. Now it's for anyone who wants the splendid delight of raising cute Pokemon with hyper beams.

... I thought I was the only one that noticed....
