Don't worry- moved it to the right forum. >:P
As for leveling up, you level up by posting on the forums. The amount you post will show up at the left side of your posts (depending on your theme) and you can view more info on how many post you've done and junk on your profile (just click your name).
As for how it's all calculated:

I don't think this topic needs to exist anymore. If you have any more question, feel free to PM us +Mods (Mods and above). And yes, my level is an actual level you achieve when you post as much as me. >:P
