Well there's a section for tv, films, video games and music... but nothing in the book department! Just curious if any of you are particularly big readers and what sorta stuff you're into.

(weirdly enough as I was typing this out Red asks me about Animorphs, whaddya know. You raging psychic you)

I'm not usually picky just 'cause I get through books super fast, but I generally lean towards sci-fi/fantasy/horror type of things. Massively into John Wyndham (Day of the Triffids) and just starting to read Stephen King, though bugger knows why that's taken me so long???

Yeah I kinda stopped reading books :\ Dunno why, but I just never really got into it. Pretty much limited to comic books nowadays.

I do remember reading some and loving them. Legal thrillers like John Grisham are probably my favorites. Stephen King also has a bunch of good books.

I kinda wanna get back into reading books tbh, just never really feel the drive to do it for whatever reasons. Doesn't help that my school library is a mess and the librarian doesn't like me >___>

I am currently still in the YA section of my library so I doubt anyone would be familiar with anything I've read.

But theyre always Fiction and fantasy type books

There're seriously only 5 James Bond books in my school library (Goldfinger, The Spy Who Loved Me, Live and Let Die, Dr. No, and You Only Live Twice)

No wonder kids don't read nowadays

Gatsby is great

Or, at least, the very ending of it is great. That little blurb about Gatsby in his childhood that I hold on a pedestal

One of the best things in literature, hands down

So you admit the first few parts aren't the best?

Not particularly, mainly because of how old the book was, so it feels a little "outdated" I suppose. I'm not a big reader of novels at all, and I really don't care about technical skill in writing. As long as the story and characters are good, I'm pleased.

But I do understand criticism of the book along those lines. Especially during prolonged sessions, it can get tiresome to read and it sort of feels dull (mainly because Nick is a boring こし narrator).

Gatsby, though, is amazing
