Poem thread

Zup asked me to write him a quick poem the other day, so I did.
Since I'm bored and most of you like typing, I decided to make a quick poetry thread. Who knows? Maybe I'll make some poetry competitions and give out munnies (like 1000) as the prize
You can write whatever you want. Epic poems, Haiku, Gothic, Sonnet, w.e you want. Idgac.
Lets try something simple, like zup's assignment.
Lets focus on the following topics, and then you fools can write about anything.
"1. emotions, 2. stress, 3. modern society, 4. any culture of your choosing, 5. a favorite poet of yours"
I'll start with the one I wrote for zup. (Yes I'm a poet; I'll kill you if you bother me about it.)
"Movement"
Mindless enigmas screaming while in silence,
They move not, yet they're everywhere.
All going in one direction,
The one that leads to tomorrow,
Forgetting their past incentives,
Ignoring what they are truely leaving
Caring only about what they're recieving.
Followers do the least,
But are deprived of the most;
For letting their wants expand like needs
For not remembering how to contain their greed.
Its sickening really,
Thinking the brighter furture is ahead,
But life is funny,
Its easy to see twilight,
But dawn requires patience;
You can't fall asleep
And think you'll awaken when you please.
For sleep leads to one direction,
The one that leads to tomorrow.
Now go and type to your hearts contents.
