No reason to. You can purchase 256mb ram sticks relatively easy. But to get 4mb ram sticks that are of the same compatibility and put 3 of them in the same computer is not. 256 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 268. But not possible. Give me the model numbers of your ram sticks. They'll be on a sticker on the sticks.

Its around that number; the computer was serious reduced in ram and other stuff due to it belonging to a school I assume (they do that don't they?)
Otherwise it's an estimate; why it's soo small in ram is beyond me

If it's a human computer, it'll have 256mb not anything from 257 to 270.

Still thats super low compared to the 1024mb (1gb) most computers have

most have 1gb? I was convinced we all had 4gb+ on average now that Windows 7 is the preloaded OS on computers. Not saying I haven't seen some idiots install 7 on 1GB and sell it, however... *points at Dell and HP*

Im simply implying that most of vista and windows average price computers only have 1024-4092 mb; usually it's not over 3gb

You know how much ram my vista acer aspire 3600 has? My AC/DC input burned out
I'd give it to my brother but he's busy with his studies and his army soldier stuff
I'd fix it but I'm affraid I might ruin any warranty I might have; though I doubt I have one
So I'd rather give to somebody else to fix (120)

Also I have some hacker in my pc; I found him when it was too late and he made his own Internet connection and that ip address is blocking out all Internet connections (well except for updates that aren't security updates; like music or drivers)
I usually find +800 Trojans, worms, bots, hacking tools and etc
