War God Icon is Double Attack - it's the Warrior Icon that allows for counter attacks.

Thank you, I always get those two confused.

And yes, you'll generally need to be high 30's to low 40's for my strategy to work well - I've used it at L40 and 41, but losing that couple hundred HP by using it at something like 38 really hurts.

No one really bothers to go back there until they're that level.



How would you have improved Lapis to make it more super boss worthy? (I can't image the poor people who were killed by Lapis over and over and over's faces at the thought of Lapis suddenly becoming harder than before).

I don't mean to be rude, but that's the saddest thing I've ever heard. You can't expect to go against Lapis and NOT use any Phoenixes. I've only seen that being done once, and it was brute luck (kept countering over and over and over til she died >___<).

I don't think it is.

If you're not prepared, Lapis can wipe the floor with you no matter what level you are.

I was thinking of waiting till I was lvl 99. I beat Lapis the same day I beat the Muscle Dome. I never knew how to use the Phoenixes, I alway thought that my game was glitched. I had no ides you could ever be Vahn, and use an item on anyone except Vahn. I actually figured that out very recently. So I never knew how. Sounds ridiculous I know. I felt so stupid. But, I know now. Still haven't used a Phoenix yet throughout the entire game. I sware.

I've done it at level 42 with the strategy I outlined above. Simply put, the strategy is designed specifically such that the characters can survive Lapis's attacks without Spirit, and Gala can heal them back to full health before Lapis gets another attack.

Personally, that's too much of a guaranteed win for me Night.

I'd prefer to take the hard route.
