Re: Chat Thread ver.2
More character development throughout the show. He matured greatly over the seasons, thus expanding his appeal and widening his humor pool
Whenever he and Joey had the comedy moments together, 70% of the time, Chandler came out with the funniest portion
Chandler was more involved with group comedy segments than any other character
Chanandler Bong

Re: Chat Thread ver.2
Everybody had a strong point and a flaw.
Joey's strength was his looks, brains being his flaw.
Chandler had a comedic way of looking at things, his flaw was hia akward first impressions and basic weird personality.
Pheobe had her power of being under radar and her funny personality, her flaw was being over dramatic and her second face.
Ross wass very smart and could be alittle charming, but he tends to fall into ridiculous situations.
Monica had basic manners and abilities, but had some serious OCD and was way too competitive.
And finally rachael X3
Rach had good looks, brains, and wasnt afraid to do what she wanted, but was spoiled and pampered.. So she wasnt at everybody elses level until later in the series

Those aren't flaws from a comedic standpoint, those are flaws in their character. As in: they were MEANT to have them
If anything, these are their flaws:
Joey: As the show got into later seasons, he became more than just "a little less than bright." They practically made him 何だよこれ!.
Chandler: As he grew into a more mature role due to husband and fatherhood, he lost a lot of what made him great in the first place: the juvenile breath of air. He started becoming a more serious character (though not abandoning his charm)
Phoebe: Also the "何だよこれ!" problem with Joey. And she doesn't get enough love from the audience. Best female character, hands down.
Ross: His moments became defined as "the Rachel stuff," which became a turnoff with how predictable and unnecessary they were
Monica: She was the most consistent character throughout the series. Her flaw, however, was that she became much louder and shriekier than she started.
Rachel: Another "何だよこれ!" issue, but not to the degree of Joey and Phoebe. She ended up becoming the character they couldn't decide what to make her. The rich, spoiled girl shtick was abandoned (though this was a plot thing), she was given some of the moral compass moments while still being a bit shallow. And of course, the Ross stuff.

They were all funny characters, but considering Chandler was the show's breakout character...

That is your response to defeat. What is this, the 47th time you've written it?
