How has this site and forums changed your life?
Re: How has this site and forums changed your life?
Wow I missed this thread, and didn't know I was called out directly for helping here. Thanks K73SK!
This site and the forums changed me a bit too. Before, I always wished I knew how to do what those game nerds could do when they find out EVERY secret of the game. How do they do that?! That seems like fun. Not thinking I could ever find out how they do it, and that every secret has been found on most games on Gamefaqs, I never would have tried. But after enough unanswered questions came up on here, I said, "Screw it! I'M gonna learn how to do it 野菜!"
So I taught myself some new tricks and together we discovered a lot of interesting things. I absolutely love the journey I had as I dug into Legaia and the overall feel of discovering all the things behind the scenes. Plus the feeling of helping out and contributing to a community that loves the game is a great feeling. I always wanted to do like K73SK did and have a nice site with all the information I could find about a game, and design the site so it suits the theme, etc.
I don't think I ever would have even pursued the idea of debugging the game if it wasn't for these forums. Gamefaqs kind of died or turned into a bunch of randomness which led me away. And at first I didn't like the idea of having someone's personal site be used instead of Gamefaqs. But I was wrong because it is much more organized here and presented well.
I have this feeling that we created a kind of cult following on something so little. It certainly is a neat feeling being the pioneers or the first of something like this. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and as if it's a "only members would understand" kind of thing.

lmao. So the website has divorced a couple. What an achievement, I feel on par with World of Warcraft now.

It has changed the way I look at humanity because I found that people like Red and JCTC exist. So, we're all 猿が大好きだよ.

Nah I'm a impressive jerkwad (or was it oppressive... I forget a lot).
But yeah this site's done miracles with this Ogre (me). My only concern is that this site might not blossom due to the small amount of people who've actually PLAYED this game (only a few million copies were actually sold right?).
I guess I'll have to become successful and rebirthderdid this game.
it really do be like that tho
