i went to my best friend's house to play legaia 2 and we got up to the mighty bulken i said "use lang alone" but we still used maya and he used the ice scroll on him and it did almost....everything on him...... isnt bulken an ice/regular type? i dont get it...and such a weak scroll too help me understand

When I battled him and used an Identity Scroll, I got the attribute "Light" showing up for his name. I put it on the page: http://www.legendoflegaia.net/legaia_2/ ... alken.html

As for choosing to battle with Lang alone...I don't think it matters, does it? Battling with Maya would be easier and battling with Lang would be more of a challenge. That's all I know from it. Correct me if I'm wrong

i thought the same thing! but when we used maya and the ice scroll i got -10,000 or so!
ive never understood the whole ice, light controversy

Basically they're just elements so you know their weaknesses...E.g. fire and water are opposites, therefore if you use fire on a water enemy, they'll be damaged more (or vice versa). Light is the opposite to dark.

i keep thinking of this weird pokemon thing where fire is HURT by water, water takes LOTS of damage from lighting and etc. so idk http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lb32rx0uck1qa16fe.gif

Yeah I always think of the pokemon thing when I'm choosing how to attack. It's tough to remember to use fire against water. Did we ever figure out why such a weak scroll did so much Damage?
