I'm just starting a new play through for Legaia 2, and was hoping someone may be able to tell me which materials are worth keeping and which are useless if I'm trying to get the best weapons as fast as possible.

So can anyone help me out with a bit of a shortcut?

The best bet I would say is just keep all the materials you gather. Every material is unique in its own way and will likely be useful when you go to make even some of the more powerful weapons in the game. I didn't sell any of my materials and I have some of the top quality weapons I can currently unlock at my level.

I agree with this. If ever in doubt, hold onto it. I sometimes do that in MMO's, hold on to tons of stuff that are useless at the time and only sell them if im sure I won't be needing them.

Of course you should also know that the best weapons come from Heaven's Secrets But yes, hang on to all your stuff.

it depends on what level u are.....do u mean the last weapons?

Unfortunately, the only way to get the best items is to use the heaven's secret material to make them...And those are extremely rare in the game. Not to mention, the other materials to make such items are only acquired in areas like Demiurge Tower and the Wind Tower (I think that's what's it called, I can't remember). So the best you can really get at the time you're in the game, is what you have access to with materials.

actually i just trained alot and crafted when ever possible.. i ended up with a 6 emperors sword or something like that... it was very powerful with the last battle...

hold on to everything... and if you need more; dont be afraid to run back to places... ive made that mistake too many times...

What possible use could you have for six emperor swords when only one party member can use them lol?
