I've never played Legaia 2 and I can't find it in any stores, so, just wandering, what's it like?

Like your standard turn-based RPG, with some stoofs to make it kinda unique-ish.

Same basic battle system from Legaia, but it's been "dumbed down"/made a whole lot easier I think. Kinda slow tho.

Characters and story is pretty typical.

Graphically it's okay.

Music is pretty good.

Sidequests and content and all that is really where it shines tho. There's TONS of stuff to do in the game.


You prolly won't like it as much as the first, but it's worth a play.

iunno why I said the Legaia 2 system was "dumbed down." All the items and extra effect things equipment can give you can honestly make it a lot more strategic than the first game now that I think about it.

Well the Arts/AP system definitely dumbed down a bit; now you don't have to Spirit to gain AP (which makes the battle overall easier in a sense). But the whole battle system did not in no way dumb down; it just got easier due to the strategic leverage.

I could honestly say it's better, but I just wish the battles later in the game were harder.

Legaia 2 is pretty cool, but in no way is it as good as Legend Of Legaia! Legaia 1 is the best game EVER!
