Favorite part of the game?
Just curious, since no one seems to have made this topic, according to a quick browsing of this subforum.
I have two favorite parts of the game. First is the very beginning of the game (up until Drake Castle), and the second is Rogue's Tower. I like the very beginning of the game on account of the fact that the battles are pretty short and straightforward; one of the things that I think hurts this game is that the battle system gets pretty tedious quickly and leveling up becomes really slow.
As for Rogue's Tower, I think that's more due to the dungeon music over anything else; I know that I've always really liked that music growing up.

Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.

I really like when you first get to Jeremi since you can explore it, complete it, or pass it up and go to Vidna and do tons of sidequests.(Buy better gear, fish, slots, absorb Orb, grind for levels or magic levels, and of course pick up the treasure in Vidna and Octam). I also like Sol for about the same reason but not to the same extent. I like Juggernaut due to how interesting it looks and whatnot, and the amazing treasure it holds.(Whole set of gear for all characters, Crimson book, and an item that makes ap 100 all the time, sign me up) Rogue's Tower is also interesting it reminds me of a game I really enjoyed playing a long time ago on N64, can't remember what it was called though..I've tried looking it up and maybe it's Gauntlet but I'm not sure.(It was a multiplayer rpg and 3 of us played together. I remember there was an Exp system, gold, and fighting a dragon as a boss.)
(Gauntlet Dark Legacy I think is the game I'm thinking of)

One of the things that's really neat about the game is that it's pretty easy for someone to think that the game ends at Zeto's Dungeon. After all, you have explored the whole map, revived the Genesis Trees, and everyone has their Ra-Seru. It really does seem like Zeto's Dungeon might be the end of the game. I think that the part about Songi running off to wherever dispels the notion, but it was pretty exciting to see that even though I thought I had finished the game, there were still two more regions to explore, and I was really less than a third of the way through the game.

Have to agree with this. I'm also VERY fond of the Eru Mais stuff.GoldenPower89 wrote:I suppose I like the one-on-one boss battles in Nivora Ravine.

i like the event when we revive the voz genesis tree then the genesis trees of mt rikuroa and rim elm activated once more to combine their power to lessen the thickness of zeto dungeon mist
then i like the event when we met the sebucus ra-seru after defeating dohati. always like the ra-seru shape
and last i like the event when we enter unfrozen buma and revive its three genesis trees

Gaza's entrance at Sol'ta his fight on the roof is super hype.
Hype dies out a little with the bread bullshit.
But then it picks up again with his sick basement fight.

This is also waaaay up there. The Delilas Family're right behind Gaza as the dopest characters.GoldenPower89 wrote:I suppose I like the one-on-one boss battles in Nivora Ravine.

It's still one of my favorite games of all time. And I still haven't beaten the final boss yet... I really need to go back?
