If the game were ever re-invented in some medium, such as a re-make, direct sequel, animated re-telling or a children's book with sounds. Who would you want as the voice actors for the characters?

Some of mine:

Vahn - Scott Menville, logical fit for me. First thought of when thinking of Robin from Teen Titans, and Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, both were leadership roles and both characters were capable of fighting sounds. Jesse McCarthy also comes to mind.

Noa - Mae Whitman or Nicholle Tom, Whitman might be the more obviously choice (Tinkerbell, Cassie Sandsmark), but I think Nicholle Tom would be a fun selection as well.

Gala - Troy Baker, toughest one out of the three mainly because Gala looks two or three times older than he actually is. Chrom from Fire Emblem was the inspiration.

Songi - Michael Ironside or Chris Sabat, Ironside might be a more serious pick, he has a deeper tone and did a fantastic job with Darkseid in the DCAU. Sabat is more of a fun pick and WHEN IS LONEWULF GOING TO ANSWEr MY QUeStioN!!!!

Cort - Carl Lumbly, does a great serious a formal tone, but also not too dark that the player would absolutely want to disconnect with the character immediately.

I had a great one for Meta, but it slipped my mind. Sleeping on: Terra, Ozma.

Edit 1---14-April-2013---
Just thought of one for Terra - Maggie Q!

I always thought Tara Strong would be perfect for Noa. She's done the high voice and hyperactive quality very well before.

Yeah, I thought of her as well. Amazing range, from Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls) to Raven (Teen Titans).

She's actually been a VA in almost every cartoon/animated show I've watched as a kid. Her most notable role in video games though is probably Rikku (FFX and FFX-2), which she won awards for.

Ridiculous of how many things she's been in, almost forgot she played Rikku.

It seems that Cartoon Network and Disney are her b*tches since she's been in almost every cartoon they've ever made. She was also in Princess Mononoke from what I found. AND she appeared in person on one of my favorite shows as a kid: Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

Idk about Scott; definitely a no for Jesse. Of course, this is just my opinion.
I think Johnny Yong Bosch was born to play Vahn. Dude is amazing.
That or Yuri Lowenthal.

I like Tara better for this role.
Gala - Troy Baker, toughest one out of the three mainly because Gala looks two or three times older than he actually is. Chrom from Fire Emblem was the inspiration.
Yes. Just yes.

Wally Wingert might do well here.
Cort - Carl Lumbly, does a great serious a formal tone, but also not too dark that the player would absolutely want to disconnect with the character immediately.
Dan Woren, Dan Woren, Dan Woren, Dan Woren.

I've never thought of a voice for the Ra-Seru.

For some reason though, when I would read Meta's dialogue, I would hear Motherboard's voice (Cyberchase). Even though I'm aware of the fact that Meta is male, I can't hear it any other way.

You know the name of any voice actors other than the common ones, do you?

and these:

Meta - Terence Stamp, has the wise, experienced voice. I think it's a good fit, not too overly powerful, but his voice definitely has a presence to it.

Terra - Maggie Q, calm, resounding, battle worn voice. Inspiration came from playing Wonder Woman, who was Cassie Sandsmark's mentor, who is voiced by... wait for it... Mae Whitman!

Ozma - James Earl Jones, a bit of a cop out, sort of an easy-ish pick. Powerful voice. Self explanatory. Also thought of Kevin Michael Richardson.
