Hello, i'm new in here... i knew legend of legaia since the first time it came out at 1998 but i just knew about this site.... i knew this site after i tried to google about the noa dancing queen strategy since i couldn't beat it and got frustrated... i won it before in playstation and playstation 2 but now i'm playing it on tablet..., and since i'm in the mood, i just want to share my opinions and experiences..

i played legend of legaia first at around 1998... that time i was just addicted to rpg but not quite experienced rpg player yet... i remember i bought legaia along with a game named Guardian Crusade... i played legaia first, and that time i felt that legaia is difficult rpg ( the leveling up is difficult, the enemy is strong, the weapons are expensive, the battle takes long)... and i got bored quickly of this game because its difficult to move on to the next story since at that time i was too lazy on leveling up characters and just want to proceed quickly and beat the game.. i also didn't really like the sad and dark environment in its storyline... so i gave up on this game when i reached drake castle and i switched to play Guardian Crusade... but later on i gave up on guardian crusade too... hahahaha...

after a few months my friends were chatting about how cool legaia is... i became spirited to play it again, but i was still lazy to leveling up characters in rpg, so i barely reached when you fight caruban and got stuck in it, then later on my friends told me to raise the character levels if you want to continue to the next stage.... but i was lucky that time to beat caruban and the next bosses without high level.. ( viguro and berserker are annihilated by nighto magic, can you believe it!!! ).. until i really got stuck when i fought xain... my characters level were 13 or less with cheap armors at that time and this time no short cut or trick to defeat him, nighto magic won't work.... after that i read a game magazine somewhere that stated if you want to beat xain, its recommended you have level 19... and because of my curiosity to proceed with the story finally i have the patience to at least raise my characters at level 16 and barely defeated xain... but later on i became bored again and gave up on conkram past ( level 27 and not the best armors) but later on i started to play legaia from the beginning again and i used gameshark to beat this game twice, and i beat it wice without gameshark.... the reason i played this game again after i beat it for the first time is, i felt that using gameshark is actually ruin the game itself, so the second time i still used gameshark but just a little... and the 3th and 4th time, i beat it without gameshark to get satisfaction... this game is also the game that make me become so patience in rpg game..

now i'm playing this game again on tablet fpse.... the graphic is not bad but the sound is horrible, and i'm still stuck at sol tower dancing queen contest... i'm not comfortable at using the screen as replacement for playstation joy stick... but i just read about using triangle at the first and second and last moves instead using it at the three last moves... i'll try it later... i hope i can beat this game before my holidays end...

but honestly i'm not sure what makes me play this game so many times... i even feel this game is tedious and such a pain... i enjoy playing suikoden or final fantasy because of their fast flow... but legaia ...

- hard to level up
- strong enemies and bosses
- long battle
- expensive equipments
- sad, dark horror environment

its non enjoyable at first but i guess those unenjoyable things become its own strength that pull me to play this game for the 5th time..., i always think there are many other rpgs better than this game but none of them can make me play them for the 4th time

too bad on legaia 2 everything is a messed up.... i keep wish there are next legend of legaia's.. too bad none of them until now.. so i played this game again on tablet to feel that this game has been remade..

Your story isn't too much different than a lot of people here . We've all been drawn to the game when we were younger and go on/off with it all the time. This site only exists because one day I got back into wanting to play Legaia extremely badly one day...And thought "you know, there's a few fan sites but none of them allow for a community to meet up and talk about their experiences about the game..." ...And here it is!

i thought i'm one of the few legaia players who beat the game 5 times

5 times is pretty standard in the hardcore Legaia fan world. I think I've gotten the Evil Talisman in at least 5 playthroughs and beaten the game without it a few times too.

Since I no longer live where my still-functioning PSone lives, I hadn't played it in quite a few years. But a couple months ago, I was looking online and learned about emulators. So I got one and started playing Legend of Legaia again. And that, of course, reignited by obsession with the game. That in turn led me to find sites like the Legaia wiki and this site.

I generally play through once a year, although it's fairly boring now that I know almost everything about the game by now - no plot twists to catch me by surprise, no boss battles that I'm not overprepared for, etc.

It would be a lot of fun to somehow get to experience the game all over again as though it were the first time to relive the plot and the characters as though they were new once more.

Surprisingly enough, I found two hidden treasures in the game that I did not know about before. And it's all thanks to the Legaia wiki.

is one of them meetle goblet?

Nope. I found the Mettle Goblet in my first game.
The two I found this time were the Earth Jewel and Deep Sea Jewel in East Voz and West Voz forests.

I don't know if the Wiki has them or not, but I've also got screenshots of every single item. I hate reading where to find an item only to see that it's not there because I can't find it. Need to know where it's at, just go to towns/locations on my site and click "items" to see screenshots of every item in that location.

i was spending of hours to find the mettle goblet... i finally found it after saw the screen shot

if i'm not mistaken in the last stats the scene showed i found 95% of the treasure chests
