Debug Mode Coolness + Hilarity

Post by LegaiaWiki » Tue Jan 31, 2012 2:02 am

So thanks to K giving me the ISO for Legend of Legaia I've finally been able to access the debug menu. For some reason my hard copy freezes up whenever I try to enter it, same goes for my Japanese version of the game.

Anyway, you can do some pretty neat things with it. I managed to snag screen captures of the two scrapped enemy designs - Comm and Evil Bat. Which both come in groups of three. As well as...Tetsu.

Lol, that's awesome! The Comm and Evil bats shouldn't have been scraped, they're cool. 3 Tetsu's are kinda creepy.

It'd be more awesome if the Comm were Seru :D

As the Ra-Seru heroes fought deeper into Zeto's Dungeon a voice stopped them from the air vents overhead! But it wasn't Songi! It was...

OH NOES!

Thankfully Gala had his trusty Lippian Flute that Songi gave to him years ago! He assured him that it would get him out of any dangerous situation!

THAT LIAR!

Now the heroes are dead :(

lol. I'd hate to fight him at level 5.

You could probably make a regular monster a boss in the debug mode too...Maybe? Can you make it to where fighting the golem actually makes you fight a different boss or monster, like a Grudge?

The Comm does look exactly like a foot soldier of Van Saryu. Judging by the damage output, it would make sense as far as challenge level for that point in the game (~45 damage per hit, 3-4 hits = ~160 damage per attack, well in line with a level 18 party or so).

Out of curiosity, does it spawn weak Tetsu from the beginning of the game or strong Tetsu from after Cort?
Do not question yourself with the why or the how. I simply am, and that is all you need to know.
