Android Emulation

Sup noobs. So I've recently picked up a fancy android phone and an 8bitdo game pad pro and been looking into mobile emulation. Has anyone had any success with a psx emulator for Android? I think it goes without saying that legend of legaia on the phone would be sick. It's actually crazy. I never thought when I first played this game, I'd be looking into running it on a phone. The future is weird.

I have played it on the phone with the psx emulator that's out there. Forgot how much it costs... And it's been a long time since I did it. Did it back on the Nexus 4 - and it played perfectly, to be honest.

Update: I got it working and it works flawlessly. I'm using epsxe off the Playstore. It was about 4 USD. It's crazy, when I was a kid I had the mini playstation 1 with a mountable screen and battery pack and i thought it was so cool that i could play legend of legaia in the car. Years later it was even cooler that I could play it on a PSP. Never thought I'd see the day where I could play it on a cell phone. I'm curious to see if I run into the conkram bug.

I doubt you'll encounter the Conkram bug since epsxe emulates PS1, not PS3.

Yeah there's an epsxe emulator that works actually fairly well on the phone. Android can handle the game pretty easily. I imagine it wouldn't be long, assuming it's not already done, for PS2 games to be on the phone too...

While the idea sounds cool, I don't think it would work well. My current phones are too snall fer me to wwanna play Legaia on, and those apps probably take up a ton of space and battery life. :/

Yup, they sure do. But phones are getting bigger, and smaller, and bigger, etc. never ending cycle. Wait until they hit a "getting big" moment again and are powerful enough for ya :P
