Best and worst places to live in Legaia

If you were a native of Legaia, what village/town/city would be the best to live in, iyo? Which would be the worst?

For me, Sol Tower would be the best place to live. Lots of attractions, parties, booze, and fine women to accompany you if you have the dough. Speaking of dough, they have world famous Soru Bread. That by itself would be great. Plus you can get away from the nightlife just by going to the observatory where you can gaze at the stars and maybe have a good time with a hot date. Sure you might have to do military service if the emperor commands it, but it would be worth it in most cases, I think.

Worst place for me to live would be Ratayu. It has a humid climate due to the hot springs, yet no giant fans to cool you off. There's a huge mountain right next door, and when combined with the humidity you have a popular hangout for giant poisonous insects that would be a constant annoyance - remember you fight Demon Flies within the city walls. On top of it you have to pay high taxes to Lord Saryu, and one of the NPCs comments that his taxes were high even before he put on the Sim-Seru. What possible benefits would you get from living there?

Im with you on Ratayu. But im not much for 'busy' places. Rim Elm is the place for me. Small, quiet, peaceful with a beach. But i'd make trips to Sol a few times a year for vacation, lol.

I'd visit Rim Elm for vacation but couldn't make it a permanent residence. I'd be too worried of a huge wave coming out of nowhere and drowning me.

Best place for me would probably be between the nice quiet Vidna or Sol. I like the quiet "out of the way" feel it gives off, plus it's got (or had) those Hot Springs. But I'm REALLY used to the city life, so I'd probably go to Sol for comfort and the muscle dome. Rim is nice but really far out (closest thing to a neighboring town would be Drake Castle but who wants to deal with that commute just to see those egg heads).

I'm actually really surprised you guys didn't choose Buma as the worst place to live. One bad storm and you get either minus 20 degree weather with your house in a semi-permanent slant (from the water freezing uneveningly) to just straight up losing houses in a thunderstorm (even if its a lake the winds and junk will still mess yo house up). Also I doubt Ratayu is as bad as Buma, humidity is one thing, but bugs (especially mosquitoes) don't thrive unless they have some body of water to reproduce in, Buma is probably always humid due to being above an actual body of water, and I can imagine there being mosquitoes literally everywhere. Not to mention the never ending sea sickness.

Eh, Buma would have been my number 2 pick to avoid. Still think Ratayu would be worse (and i dont get sea sick).

If I could somehow live in the seru kai I might, very beautiful place. Worst place might be inside juggernaut haha. Then an inbetween place would be underground Octam, sure it would probably be awesome living underground but the fear of rock falls or even the pillar you live on falling would probably make it a dangerous place to live.
