The something pretty obvious is the letter W!Nightshade wrote:X is for... Xpert Armor... Wait, that actually starts with an E, doesn't it? Well, it would be pretty cool if it didn't, because then there might be another thing that starts with an X.
Heck, I might be missing something pretty obvious though, in which case, I will wear the cone of shame.

Re: The alphabet of Legend of Legaia
I must admit - I laughed for about 15 seconds, and not because that was a deliberate joke on my part either!
W is for Warfish, the strongest of the fish-man type creatures. Apparently, their name suggests they become more and more fishlike as they increase in power.

Crap, so now I'm stuck with the X... Let's see what I can pull out...
X is for X,X,Triangle,O,Square: the password to Usha Research Center that Dr. Usha left with Emperor Etora in Sol. Why he expected fellow Legaians to speak in PS1 controller-speak, no one know....
That counts for X, right?

Better than mine, in any case!
Y is for Young Nobleman of the Mist, Cort's theme. There are, of course, two parts to this - his introduction theme, and then his battle theme. Why they aren't separated like Songi's on the OST is anyone's guess!

Z is for Zeto, one of the four wiseman. He also has the ability to make himself look like a crab at time, great for hide and seek at the beach if your friends don't know about this.

A is for Azure Jewel, an accessory that increases your base HP by 20%.
It is, in some respects, strictly worse than the Guardian Ring, although it does stack with it.

C is for Cara, a mysterious woman who somehow has the ability to wander through the Mist without being possessed by the Seru or going mad from exposure. It is, of course, revealed why this is the case.

D is for Disco King: a hip disco dancer from Sol with a very obvious 70's look. (Named Afro-King in the Japanese version for his also very obvious Afro.) He sees talent in young budding dancers and trains them in the art of dancing to compete in the Dance Tournament. Also notable is that he is one of few named NPCs in the game to appear in Rim Elm at the end of the game.

Re: The alphabet of Legend of Legaia
E is for Earth Talisman, a one-of-a-kind item forged from the Earth Ra-Seru egg which allows its bearer to use the Palma spell.
I do have to wonder - are these Ra-Seru eggs all inert and broken, or does crafting the talisman kill the Ra-Seru inside? Or perhaps, would Palma have eventually hatched from the Earth Talisman had a suitable host been available and the energy of a Genesis tree been accessible?
