Which VG characters would be good matches against Legaia's?

Sin's overdrive (Giga-graviton) is an instant game over IIRC, because it basically destroys the world.

Sin's override is an instant game over because even if the player survives, the ship can't take that big a blast. Thus even if your defense is high, the player would fall to their death regardless. But it can definitely cause some massive damage to the earth.

And it's resistant to nearly all types of attacks. Physical, Magical, and resistant to Machina related attacks.

Also, even if JuggerCort wins, Yu Yevon would probably take over the former. So pretty much... we'd all lose regardless of who wins.

But my vote is on Sin, due to its diverse abilities. Power-wise though, it's JCort; anyone who can drag another planet onto 3 opponents deserves praise.

That could be possible with Juggernaut itself, but if Cort is merged with Juggy I don't think Yu Yevon would be able to just take him over. Cort would emerge from its heart and beat the crap out of that spider-looking body of his

I think of the JuggerCort fusion as basically the same way Yu Yevon merges with Sin. Which would effectively prevent them from absorbing/fusing with each other's shells.
I do wonder how insanely powerful a Sin born out of Juggernaut would be though...

A few more I thought of while playing Legaia 2 today:

Lang vs Squall Leonhart (FFVIII): They both can fire huge beams of energy from their swords (Sleeping Dragon vs Blasting Zone). Then there's the fact that Squall has Shiva and Lang has Galea. So it's a classic battle of ice vs fire.

Kazan vs Jiraiya (Naruto): Another battle of the drunken pervert master archetypes. I'd imagine they'd be pretty evenly matched. Jiraiya's giant Rasengan vs Kazan's Ultimate Fury would be a nice beam struggle in ball form. Sage mode Jiraiya might give have an advantage cuz of the genjutsu though.

Ayne vs Wong (hidden boss from Final Fight 3): Wong is the huge guy you fight in the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant. If your characters from Final Fight are about the regular human size in Legaia 2, Wong is about the same size as Ayne. They both have this spinning flip attack (like Ayne's Axe Crush)

Elliott vs James from Team Rocket (Pokemon): I know James isn't a fighter but the effeminateness (<- is that a word?) makes me think they could possible kill each other with insults on how badly the other is postured.

Marianne vs Shantotto (FFXI): Both mages. Both tiny. Both annoying. Both b*tches. Need I say more? I give the edge to Shantotto though. She's a multi-dimensional sorceress known for her great power across the whole world. Marianne's just a spoiled brat lucky enough to have an Origin.

Cort (LoL) vs. Sephiroth (FFVII, et al): Battle of the White-Haired Pretty Boys. Young man taken over by his universe's analogue of Satan (implied) versus young man taken over by his mommy.

Actually I think its fairly possible for Yu Yevon to take over JuggaCort.

Iirc, after the first initial Sin is defeated, YY takes over the 'final Aeon' for the rebirth process. Each Aeon have their own spirit behind them. YY (who was next to powerless) was still able to take over; even taking over a powerful warrior like Jecht.

Yes, this is true. Only in JuggerCort's case, Cort has already taken over the original Juggernaut. I think of Juggernaut + Cort as the same way as Sin + Yu Yevon, in that after Jette's fortress collapsed onto Juggernaut, it basically dies until Cort merges with it and uses it as a shell. (The whole dying part is just my speculation though)

Gala vs Ryu: star pupils of their respective masters. And they both have a rival who also trained under the same master.
