Is says that in the US version, but when reading the JP version my friend told me it said "fatal blows to the crotch area". If that's accurate, then lol.

I would say Vahn due to the fact that when you first get Noa and Gala they both start at lvl 1 even though Vahn dose the same, you get a little more training time with him. That and Meta goes all the way up to lvl 9 compared to Lvl 8 tera and lvl 7 Ozma.
May we all remember the roads we traval...even if they are diffrent then others or what you did not expect....

Hmm. I was always impressed that Gala was at least 7 or so levels behind Vahn and Noa yet caught up pretty fast despite that. I'd wager that the other two hero's wouldn't have been able to lay a finger on Songi either without their Ra-Seru. Despite his arrogance he was pretty skilled before he got his Dark Seru.
I've always looked at Gala as a sleeping Dragon of sorts in battle. He might not hit first most times....but he leaves an impression when he does.
So I'd pick Gala. Noa is fast but her INT limits magic. Plus she tends to take the worst of power attacks. Vahn is balanced to the point that most fight with stronger foes are a battle of attrition.
